One way to think of doing a cart full! It’s important to make sure that the hips are pushing up sideways to effect the inversion level.

Also learning to wrap the back arm in across the body to have the amount of twist & flip right to be able to land.

Turning in the drop off feeling will really show the body how to land the full.

To get the feeling of these tricks for the first time, using a block can be great assistance 🙌

Sideswipe and raiz are going to want a bit more of inversion, so being high on the shoulder is going to help the best! Also not only doing this drill but other ones to guarantee that inversion ✊

🤸‍♂️‼️ GUMBI DRILLS ‼️🤸‍♂️

Here are some good ways to increase your back flexibility for gumbi & prepare yourself for the Gumbi positioning. Not all good Gumbi’s need a super flexible back but I’ve found that for most Gumbi’s to slingshot at the right angle into the swing it helps a good bit. I definitely don’t have a super flexible back anyway 😅😂

Last clip is an with an Atwist Gumbi, a similar skill but with the takeoff being the other leg. 🦿
