This isn’t about impressing other people, it’s about showing up for yourself. ❤️

The way you present yourself to the world can influence your confidence, your mindset, and even how you move through the day. 😁

When you look put together, you often feel more prepared to tackle whatever is in front of you. That’s a lesson I want my children to see just as much as anything we learn from a workbook. 📚

Color isn’t decoration. It’s direction. 🌈

When used intentionally, color helps children focus, transition smoothly, regulate emotions, and remember what they’re learning. 🧠

Warm colors wake the brain up. ❤️🧡💛

Cool colors calm it down. 💚💙💜

Consistent color cues create structure without a single word being said.

Color helps children feel safe, engaged, and ready to learn.
A well-designed space can do a lot of the teaching for you. ✏️

Seeing your baby grow and learn is so fulfilling 🥹

When you’re teaching multiple children you eventually realize they they will not all have the same learning strategies. My daughter and son’s way of learning are completely different from each other and the road to figuring this out was pretty bumpy.

📖 STORY TIME 📖

I learned that my daughter can sit and be taught. 🙋🏾‍♀️

My son, on the other hand, loves hands on learning. 🖐🏾

So finding ways to accommodate them both, at the same time, has been challenging. I felt I wasn’t seeing progression in my son’s learning because I was putting so much more focus on my daughter.

It wasn’t until I realized that my son liked to be guided into doing things on his own. Now, I allow him to do more without my immediate help and he asks for assistance if he feels he needs it. He’s surprised me a couple weeks ago with this one.

We’ve finally entered his writing phase! 👏🏾🥹
