Oh what a time! 🐉

Thankfully I’ve had the opportunity once again to play at my favourite doof. I don’t even know where to begin with the experience I’ve had. This was definitely one of the most fun sets I’ve ever played.

@dragon_dreaming_festival has always had a special place in my heart, it just has this magical way of grounding me no matter where I am in life.

Ive been feeling so disconnected and out of place with the world due to a sudden loss of one of my best mates. From “trying to leave all the negativity at the gate” so it doesn’t ruin my weekend to “maybe I’ll get over it or something”
I was so wrong, I took it all on the chin and brought it all in with me and used this magical weekend by the lake to reflect and give myself answers to let go of so many questions and emotions.

Camping with my core crew, connecting with so many mates and connecting with so many new people is always such a highlight of doofing.

Thank you @subsensory, @volkiene__vorpal & @bumble_music for trusting me to play such a huge and important time slot and a massive thank you to the people that partied to my set in the cold, dusty wind. Thank you for all the kind words, footage and pictures capturing all of of it ✨🐉

Subsonic has always meant a fair bit to us. For some of the crew, it was one of the places we first found some real solace within the Australian festival scene - a space that felt a little different. Underground music given room to breathe, creativity without too many rules, and a community of people who were there for more than just a big night out.

There's something pretty special about disappearing into that pocket of Worimi Country for a few days, surrounded by bush, river, art, strange sounds and good humans. It's a festival that has spent years carving out its own lane, and we've got a lot of love for that, so being invited back to bring a bit of Newy Bass Crew business to the River Stage again is something we’re genuinely proud of.
