As the seasons shift, your body is doing its best to adapt, balancing temperature changes, new allergens, and fluctuating energy levels. That’s why this is the time to give your immune system a little extra love, and one of our favorite ways to do that is through fire cupping.

Fire cupping is an ancient healing therapy used for thousands of years to release stagnation, boost circulation, and restore balance. But at In8love, we also see it as an incredibly powerful way to support your immune system through transition seasons.

Here’s how it works 👇

The element of fire is used to create gentle suction inside each cup. This draws blood, oxygen, and lymph to the surface, stimulating detoxification and awakening your body’s natural healing response.

Clearing stagnation: As cups are placed along the back and lungs, fire cupping helps open up the respiratory system, move lymph, and support your body’s natural defenses (especially helpful when everyone around you is catching colds).

Stress release + nervous system balance: The warmth of the cups helps you drop into parasympathetic mode, your “rest, repair, and heal” state. Less stress = stronger immune response.

Circulation = communication: Better blood and energy flow mean your immune cells can move more freely throughout your body, finding and fighting what doesn’t belong.

Fire cupping is more than a therapy, it’s a seasonal reset. It clears out what’s stagnant, ignites your inner vitality, and helps your body remember how to heal itself.

Pair it with chiropractic care, ozone therapy, and erchonia laser sessions for a complete In8love immune protocol that supports you from the inside out. by @in8acupuncture

Your body is smart! It’ll twist, tilt, and tighten just to keep you moving. You don’t even notice it at first... your body compensates to protect you from pain. Maybe you tilt your head, shift your hips, or keep all your weight on one leg. But here’s the problem: those little adjustments turn into big imbalances.

🪡 Acupuncture helps your body unlearn the pain pattern. It releases tension, improves circulation, and lets your body realign naturally.

This patient walked in carrying the
weight of the world... and walked out restored.
Acupuncture works by gently clearing meridians, the body's energetic pathways. Think of meridians like rivers: when they're flowing, you feel balanced and strong. But when stress, trauma, or exhaustion create blocks, energy gets stuck... showing up as tension, pain, anxiety, or burnout.
Mothers are especially vulnerable to these blocks.

Why? Because so often, you step outside of yourself to play a role for your family and children, giving endlessly, while your own energy quietly runs low.

Acupuncture gives you back that flow. It's not just about healing symptoms, but restoring you.

If this resonates, it's time to start taking care of yourself, because your well-being is the foundation for everything else. by @in8acupuncture

If you've haven't yet, you're definitely missing out and we welcome you to book with her! by @in8acupuncture

I was in an accident back in January, and honestly… I’ve been carrying it with me ever since. Constant travel and a busy lifestyle haven’t helped, and the tension has built up in ways I didn’t even realize.

Being at @in8lovewellness has always been a saving grace but this time, the experience got leveled up.

I had a mini acupuncture session with Pook, and in that short time, I felt a massive release. I went from feeling hunched in the middle back area & unstable, as if my legs couldn’t support me. Six months of tension began to lift & that feeling alone brought me to tears.

Pook explained that when our bodies go through trauma, we start holding ourselves differently, and over time, those holding patterns compress and compound. After the session, I actually felt more awareness to the pain, not in a bad way, but in a revealing way. My conscious thought around my body shifted. I could feel where I was putting too much weight, where certain muscles were overworking, and how I’d been compensating without realizing it.

She said:

“Most of the time, we have more than 5 issues going on at once. When the main ones get released, your brain finally has space to register the others.”

It hit me deeply.
I’m walking away from this experience with more alignment, more awareness, and so much gratitude.
And to think… this was just a mini session.

10 Reasons You Should Try Fire Cupping & Why Your Muscles Will Thank You!

Let's get into it! If you’ve been feeling tense, sluggish, or stuck in your healing process, fire cupping could be the missing link in your wellness routine. This ancient therapy uses heat and suction to create a natural vacuum effect on the skin, which lifts fascia, pulls toxins to the surface, and stimulates healing on a deeper level.

Here’s why people are loving it:

1. Deep Muscle Relief
The suction penetrates beneath the surface, loosening tight muscles and relieving stubborn knots regular massage can’t reach.

2. Boosts Blood Flow
Cupping brings fresh, oxygenated blood to targeted areas, speeding up recovery and promoting tissue repair.

3. Reduces Inflammation
By improving circulation and drawing out stagnation, it helps calm inflamed tissues and joints.

4. Enhances Lymphatic Drainage
It supports your body’s natural detox process, helping move waste and fluids through your system more efficiently.

5. Breaks Up Scar Tissue & Fascia
Stuck fascia and old scar tissue can limit mobility and cause chronic pain. Cupping helps release that tension and restore range of motion.

6. Accelerates Post-Workout Recovery
Athletes swear by it for muscle recovery, reduced soreness, and performance support.

7. Supports Detoxification
Cupping draws out toxins from tissues to the skin’s surface, where your body can eliminate them more easily.

8. Calms the Nervous System
The parasympathetic response kicks in during treatment, helping you feel calm, relaxed, and grounded.

9. Natural Pain Relief
From back and neck pain to migraines and arthritis, cupping offers relief without medication.

10. It Feels SO Good
Seriously. Once you experience that release, you’ll understand why it’s been used for thousands of years!

Here’s why we place needles here:
• Releases jaw tension from clenching, grinding, or stress
• Stimulates circulation to nourish skin cells and promote healing
• Supports lymphatic drainage to reduce puffiness and stagnation
• Activates collagen production to improve skin tone and elasticity
• Encourages nervous system regulation through facial meridian points
• Enhances energy flow (Qi) throughout the face and body
