This is not a networking event.

Nobody is handing out business cards. Nobody is doing the fake elevator pitch thing. You will not be standing in a corner holding a drink wondering when you can leave.

Like Minded LIVE is a full day with 100+ female founders who are building real things and want real friends while they do it.

Here’s the day:

Two and a half years ago, I started Like Minded because I was tired of building alone.

I didn’t want another networking event. I didn’t want another room of business cards and small talk. I wanted the women who get it. The ones building something of their own. The ones who would actually pick up the phone.

What started as a few of us meeting for coffee became a community of hundreds. And now… it becomes a full day.

Like Minded LIVE is not a conference you sit through. It’s not a room full of strangers. It’s not another event you leave from feeling like you “should have talked to more people.”

It’s the day you stop building alone.

It’s panels that go deeper than the highlight reel.
Workshops you actually use on Monday morning.
Connection activations designed to skip the small talk and get you to the women you’ve been looking for.

You’ll walk in solo. You’ll leave with your people.

October 2nd. Costa Mesa. 150 female founders. One full day that changes the way you build everything after it.

I used to think I was building events.

Turns out I was building something I desperately needed.

Friends who get it. Who understand the mental load of launches and pivots and carrying a vision that no one else can see yet. Who don’t look at you blankly when you say “I need recurring revenue.”

I love my longtime friends deeply. But they’re not entrepreneurs. And that gap? It can be really lonely.

So I built the room.

2.5 years, 150+ events, a sold out retreat, and a coworking space later... I’m watching women from this community grab dinner together on weekends. Collaborate. Go on runs. Actually become friends.

Without me coordinating it.

That’s the whole thing. That’s why I do this.

If you’ve ever felt like entrepreneurship is a little isolating, this is your sign that it doesn’t have to be.

As someone who hosts events, it’s SO nice to attend one where I can fully turn my brain off and just enjoy. Yesterday was exactly that! The perfect afternoon for a Founder Field Trip facilitated by @withmari.co and filled with the most incredible women 👯‍♀️

We perused the farmers market and got to meet @teenwah and @thedormina then headed for a wine tasting at @littlejoydelmar and ended with a private cooking class from @taramiddleton_ and dinner in the most beautiful venue @shine__naturalmarket

I’m still not over it. 🥹

Last Friday, 130 women walked into Like Minded LIVE and I watched strangers turn into friends in real time. That’s the whole dream. And it took a village to pull it off, so let me thank mine

To every single woman who grabbed a ticket for our FIRST Like Minded LIVE: you made the room. Thank you for trusting me with your day. (And yes, this was definitely not the last one.)

Most women I know lose money on their retreat.

They pour everything into the experience, they make it beautiful, and then they break even. Or worse.

Mari Milenkovic has taken founders to Sicily and Lake Como, and she was honest with me about all of it. The first one broke even. Every one since has been profitable. Six founders, once a year, and she still calls it the most fun top of funnel there is.

But here’s the part I can’t stop thinking about. The snacks are already in your room when you land. Your favorite breakfast. A spa booked for the hour you arrive. A care package mailed to your house before you ever get on the plane, with an eye mask and compression socks and vitamin C.

Nobody goes hungry on her watch. You can feel that in every single thing she builds.

I’ve been trying to find the words for Friday and I keep coming up short. So I’ll let this reel do the talking 🥹

You could feel it before the doors even opened. 130 women showing up buzzing, some walking in with their best friends, some meeting for the very first time, all of them ready for a day that was just for them.

By the end of the day, old friends had pulled new ones into their circles. Numbers were swapped. A few of them had so much fun they went to dinner together after. There were happy tears (mine included) and SO much laughter.

It wasn’t a conference. It was a room full of women who finally felt understood.

The business follows the friendship. I watched it happen all day long.

Thank you to every single woman, speaker, sponsor, and vendor who made this day what it was. I’m still floating.

Our Like Minded LIVE VIP workout was everything 💗

Our VIP crew got to sweat it out together at @the12fitclub, and it was SO good. Thank you @toriwoodz_ for an amazing workout!

Our sponsor @unleashed.movement took us through stretching, posture, and really opening up our bodies after we worked hard. Everyone left feeling taller, looser, and so connected.

This is exactly what we mean by wellness-first founders. We move together, we laugh together, and the friendships (and the business) follow.

OMG. IT’S HERE. 🎙️✨

I’ve been toying with the idea of a podcast for over a year. Writing down episode ideas in my notes app, talking myself into it, talking myself out of it... and now the trailer for The Magic of IRL is LIVE and I’m kind of freaking out (in the best way).

This one’s for my girls who host the events, run the memberships, dream about the retreats, and want it all to feel magical AND make money.
