I’m still not over it. 🥹

Last Friday, 130 women walked into Like Minded LIVE and I watched strangers turn into friends in real time. That’s the whole dream. And it took a village to pull it off, so let me thank mine

To every single woman who grabbed a ticket for our FIRST Like Minded LIVE: you made the room. Thank you for trusting me with your day. (And yes, this was definitely not the last one.)

To our speakers, sponsors, and vendors: thank you for saying yes to a first-time event and showing up like it was year ten.

Rilee from @theworkscollective, you took the picture in my head and made it real. I’m obsessed.

I’ve been trying to find the words for Friday and I keep coming up short. So I’ll let this reel do the talking 🥹

You could feel it before the doors even opened. 130 women showing up buzzing, some walking in with their best friends, some meeting for the very first time, all of them ready for a day that was just for them.

By the end of the day, old friends had pulled new ones into their circles. Numbers were swapped. A few of them had so much fun they went to dinner together after. There were happy tears (mine included) and SO much laughter.

It wasn’t a conference. It was a room full of women who finally felt understood.

The business follows the friendship. I watched it happen all day long.

Thank you to every single woman, speaker, sponsor, and vendor who made this day what it was. I’m still floating.

Our Like Minded LIVE VIP workout was everything 💗

Our VIP crew got to sweat it out together at @the12fitclub, and it was SO good. Thank you @toriwoodz_ for an amazing workout!

Our sponsor @unleashed.movement took us through stretching, posture, and really opening up our bodies after we worked hard. Everyone left feeling taller, looser, and so connected.

This is exactly what we mean by wellness-first founders. We move together, we laugh together, and the friendships (and the business) follow.

When I decided to host Like Minded LIVE, 100 felt like a number I made up to sound brave.

We hit it today. With 2.5 weeks to go.

30 days out I set a new goal: 120. Which meant selling 30 tickets in 30 days. I said it out loud on the internet, which turns out to be a very effective way to make sure you actually do the thing.

We’re 18 days away. 20 tickets left.

Like Minded LIVE is a full day for female founders who want real strategy and real connection, and who want to be in a room with women who will still be showing up for them long after October 2nd.

That last part is the whole reason I built it. Friendship first, business second. Always in that order.

This is not a networking event.

Nobody is handing out business cards. Nobody is doing the fake elevator pitch thing. You will not be standing in a corner holding a drink wondering when you can leave.

Like Minded LIVE is a full day with 100+ female founders who are building real things and want real friends while they do it.

Here’s the day:

• Colin Boyd on speaking in a way people cannot ignore.
• Jordan Gill on collaborating your way into bigger rooms.
• A lead gen and retention panel with women actually doing it.
• A content panel for anyone tired of posting into the void.
• Movement in the middle of the day, journaling, and space to actually TALK to each other.

Come in athleisure. We planned the day around comfort for a reason.

Almost every member and client I have came from a room. Not a funnel. A room.

Daily update ✨ 28 days left | 26 tickets to go

This week was A LOT! My husband was traveling, so it was me and the 3 babes… here’s what I did to move the needle forward for Like Minded LIVE ✨

• lots of individual outreach
• confirmed audio & visual
• connected with potential vendors
• secured some yummy snacks
• shared attendees on social for more exposure
• narrowed down outfit options
• sent out 2 different emails to my email list and community
• created a new activation that’s SO cute
• booked a coffee cart for the morning
