POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I recently attended the world’s largest astrology conference, with 1500+ astrologers from all around the globe.

The energy was electrifying, the conversations were meaningful, and the synchronicities were loud — a byproduct of putting that many divinatory practitioners in one place.

For me, the biggest takeaway was seeing just how many astrologers are interested in creating ceremonial, ritual, and creative containers that invite fellow astrologers to drop more deeply into the heart and body.

@nick.lasky led a beautiful Cacao Ceremony with live music and meditation. @how.below @livingastrologies gave us a taste of Astro Improv Drama — where astrologers take on various planetary archetypes and express them through their voice and body.

I believe the astrology industry needs more of these sacred spaces. And I feel quite inspired to contribute my gifts in a similar vein at the next @unitedastrology conference…Hmm maybe I’ll pitch a movement or embodied dance workshop..whatever is needed come 2030.

#HeartBeforeChart 🫀

Lastly, I want to give a shout out to all the people who worked tirelessly to bring this monumental event to fruition. The UAC organizing team, the sponsoring astrology organizations, the board members, the volunteers, the AV crew, the speakers, the vendors, and how can I not mention…Laura Nalbandian! “I’m Done” 😂 !! Thank you all so much.

Big love to the @gov.chicago as well for holding it all together (so much soul!). It was a lovely homecoming. Till we meet again. 🙏🏽

After being cooked inside a cauldron this past week or two, we are now emerging on the other side with a renewed sense of faith.

It is a deep faith in yourself. The kind of faith that can only come when having surrendered the self (Die Die..) to All That Is.

Wiping the tears from my eyes, I invite you to celebrate this acute growth period with some singing, dancing, crying…whatever your heart fancies. It’s important to celebrate the spiritual growth, if that feels appropriate.

If you’re still in it, or have experienced loss during this time, I’m sending you love to be as present as possible with what’s unfolding.🫀

For me, the celebration this time looks like creating some original dance choreography to the song you know I’ve been ahem..obsessed with..@shakira’s Dai Dai, or should we just start calling it “Die Die” as an astrology inside joke? 😉

What if the world accidentally heard the message of the moment?

@shakira sang “Dai Dai Ikou” — but the people around the world heard “Die Die Ego.”

And it arrived at a time when the astrology itself was speaking about the death of an old self, the transformation of identity, and the rebirth of what we believe in.

In this short video I explore this synchronicity and share some thoughts on the astrology that supports it. Full video on YouTube.

In the company of the holy ~sat sangat~ at @nwastroconf 🪐

It may seem paradoxical, but astrologers are actually some of the most grounded spiritual people I know. This makes sense when I remember that astrology is not simply the study of the stars. Astrology is the study of the 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 between the stars and life here on Earth. The Earth piece is integral to the whole thing.

Today as the Sun begins its descent down towards the Earth I am honouring all the beautiful relationships I’ve been given through the astrological community. It is such a blessing to be an astrologer alongside you during these times, and to celebrate with you the poetic dance between spirit and matter…luh you guys 🤙🏾

The elders have sent me to you today to tell you that now is like a rushing river.

This rushing river will be experienced in many ways. There are many who will try to hold on to the shore. There is no shore. The shore is crumbling.

Our instructions to you are: push off into the middle of the river, keep your head above water, see who else is in the river with you, and celebrate!

-Hopi Prophecy

***

We are living through a period of unprecedented change. According to some Astrologers, humanity has not witnessed this level of change in a couple thousand years.

In my work as an Astrologer, I’m more interested in serving you (the individual) and discussing how you can best work with the energy that is available. Because you have to be the change you wish to see. That’s how it works.

I love this prophecy because it poetically illustrates the times, and invites us to participate in the collective change. On a personal level, I invite you to reflect on the following questions:

- How will I keep my head above water?
- Who is in the river with me?
- How will I celebrate?

Happy Summer Solstice 🌞♋️✨

I spent 5 days with my Astrology community at @nwastroconf and the love I experienced is pulling me out of hibernation…it really does take a village.

@queercosmos thank you for your embodiment and for really living your values ‘safe, free and fully alive.’

@christopherrenstrom & @wadecaves thank you for showing me the value of being a good historian and researcher, and how that may enhance my practice.

#Demetra thank you for breathing life into the Feminine and being a living testament to the nobility of our lineage.

@sfreynolds thank you for being the active leader our community needs and for carrying the torch with so much grace and humor. #hellno

@stormiegrace08 thank you for your message of unity, to help us end the in-fighting between the old and the new, the war over House Division, which has blinded us to what really matters.

What a time to be alive! And what a time to be an Astrologer! 🪐

The level of Magick you received from the #eclipse is directly correlated with the size of your Soul’s yearning for Change.

This Eclipse took place in the court of Aries, where Will, Determination and Action are the highest virtues. ♈︎

Aries is ruled by Mars, the masculine God of Movement. ♂

Those who asserted their Will to position themselves in the Path of 100% Totality, it is as if the Gods responded in kind, by saying, with their actions: “let’s change their life by giving them clear skies. They worked hard for it.”

Thank you Ares.
Thank you Mars.
Thank you my Divine Beloved. ☾☼

Our blood carries the memories of our ancestors.

My birthday was this past weekend and I spent it exploring some Ancestral Movements. I also explored whether the Yogic path, or the Sikh path has a Heart. Hmm. Turns out it does, it was just my own experience growing up in the dogma of the Religion & Culture that was preventing me from seeing it, and tapping into it. 🏹 💚
