Pretty much how I feel right now. It’s hot, it’s humid, it’s hazy and I just want to cool down in a bit of SHADE.

By the way, the gorgeous plants and hanging wicker lamps in this illustration are inspired by the beautiful natural and handmade adornments in @cahayavillaresort ❤️

Slowly catching up on #peacetober2026 and love seeing everyone’s art! @coffeesforgaza

We're almost halfway through #peacetober2026!!! How's everyone doing?

We're in awe of everyone's incredible efforts and stunning artworks! We host #peacetober every year to build solidarity and connect with community, to process and express our emotions, and most of all to help our families!

Please continue to share the first two slides with the prompts and the family sponsorship QR code! Thank you to everyone who has shared our family sponsorship slide with your posts, uplifted campaigns and portrayed what families are going through.

Stay tuned for updates about contributing your incredible work to our November #peacetober Auction! This is our annual effort to raise extra support to help our families afford what they need for winter months. They are all struggling to get basic essentials and this will be a critical source of support!

We are still trying to grow our donor community. We urge you all to support families directly with at least the cost of a coffee a month. If you can't decide who to support, we got you! Sign up for our family sponsor program to ensure low donor campaigns secure reliable income so they can purchase basic necessities. We would LOVE it if you could invite a friend!

We invite our bookish friends to join in on our #peacetoberbookstackchallenge hosted by @thereadingquest (Every post helps Iyas's surviving family!)

As the days pass we've noticed quite a few people have dropped out of the #artchallenge, and that is to be expected! Life happens! It's called a challenge for a reason, but if need be, you can always resume and post at your own pace.

"Hi, I just found your challenge, but I'm so far behind..." Of course you can! If you are just finding us, please join in! For those of you that can't do every prompt we understand. Some materials take time to work with, and not everyone has enough time. Just remember that this #artivism challenge is also for you! Don't forget to enjoy creating.

Thank you all so much for joining us! You are all an inspiration!

Love and solidarity,
the @coffeesforgaza team by @inda_binda

We are hosting our annual #peacetober art challenge to show solidarity, raise awareness, build community, and most important of all, encourage direct financial support to our incredible families!!! Skip a coffee a day, week, or month and contribute to one of their campaigns directly. We urge everyone to send what you can sustainably afford monthly. ☕☕☕☕

Families have had no income for three years. Savings has been spent. Families rely on our ongoing support! When everyone contributes at least a little, we can help more of them with their individual needs.

Meet Tahani, Hamza, and Wisam's families! Be sure to follow Hamza's new account @hamz._2009 His previous accounts have been disabled and he lost all of his supportive contacts.

Each family campaign can be found on our account or visit CoffeesforGaza.com Don't forget to sign up for our Newsletter to stay up to date whether or not you're on social media!

It would be so wonderful if you could hit those LIKE, SAVE, REPOST, & SHARE buttons!

To open the QR code:
-screenshot the family’s QR code
-open the image in your photos
-press and hold to activate the link

Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who help us gather everything we need to share about our wonderful families! by @inda_binda

How to put into words the genocide we have witnessed and which Palestinians have lived through for the past three years … Maisara Baroud’s sensitive, poignant works, paired with his personal accounts of ‘the beginning’, tell the story - a chapter in a book that began long before. All of @maisarart pieces reflect a segment of the reality on the ground in Gaza and almost every morning they reach out, telling us, ‘It is not over’. Heartbreakingly, most of these pieces were created during the so-called ceasefire period of the past year. Empathy, sympathy, prayers and condemnation are not enough in themselves, they must lead to real-world actions for these horrors and such cruelty to end. I hope for the day one of Maisara’s works reaches me across the seas and is filled with just one small moment of absolute peace 🤍

Thank you to @evrytmrw and @bonjeyfilms for allowing me to use parts of their interview in this post. by @inda_binda

We'd love to introduce you to three more of the 25 family campaigns that @coffeesforgaza has uplifted for the past 2.5 years.

The purpose of #peacetober2026 is to create art that raises awareness and financial support for them, so swipe through to learn more about Nosiba, Qusay Hany, and Salam's families.

Each family has specific goals and unique needs that require the support of people just like you. Please share their stories and consider contributing the cost of a takeout coffee (or several) as sign of solidarity and love.

You can find each family's campaign by using the QR code on their slides or from our account for a complete list of all our families' campaigns, or visit coffeesforgaza.com by @inda_binda
