November was a pretty special month!

- Completed my first solo hyrox in Dallas - 1:15:42 📸#1 @itskennywithrow
- Raced @hyroxmx CDMX doubles with @swhittt 🤏close to accidentally making the podium
- Started a new job at Recurly as Strategic Account Executive, Enterprise Sales
- Had the honor of being inducted into the @ighsau volleyball HOF (accepted by my hs coach since I was competing in CDMX)

Doing my best to celebrate the milestones, but I’m already itching for what’s next (Austin half, LT Games, APEX, a tri??)

How I’ll remember May 2025 ✈️

It may seem silly to a lot of people, but I’ve always been intimidated by international and solo travel. About a year ago, something snapped in me, and I made the decision to full send a month long backpacking trip in Europe.

There were a lot of unknowns (how would my job respond to me taking a month off, what about my dog, how do I even plan a trip like this, what would be the financial impact, what if something goes wrong, etc.) and I had no idea where to start. I was scared, excited, and hopeful for new experiences and the chance to get outside my comfort zone.

Long story short, in the end, everything worked out better than I could have imagined. I got back to Austin feeling so grateful, proud, and ready to explore more of the world with a new perspective.

If you’re intimidated by solo or international travel, I’d love to chat. My word of advice: just book it! When you’re determined to make it happen, the rest of the pieces will fall together 🌍 taken in Western Europe by @inders_ky
