INERTIA X CROAKHEADS CELEBRATE 1ST BIRTHDAY

On 21st November, we’re taking over Basement 45 from 10PM–3AM for a special collab between Inertia Collective and Croakheads to celebrate their 1st Birthday! Expect an intimate night packed with local talent, heavy tunes, and proper community energy.

We’ve even got a limited batch of free before 11PM tickets, so be quick — once they’re gone, they’re gone. 🎟️ Early birds start at just £4 via Headfirst Bristol.

We’ll also be repping our Inertia + Croakheads merch, available on the night and through our socials (more to come soon 🤫) at 15% off — with 15% of every sale going straight to the Music Venue Trust @musicvenuetrust , helping protect the grassroots venues that make nights like this possible. Together that’s 30% for a cause we care about 💥

The Inertia crew are making the trip down from Newcastle for the first time ever, and we can’t wait to bring the heat to Bristol. Let’s make this one to remember.

🎨 by @ekee___

🎟️ Tickets live very soon on Headfirst Bristol — grab yours before they’re gone!

thank you! 🐸💜✨

We wanted to say a massive, massive thank you for showing up for our event yesterday. 💜

We are so grateful that you take the time to come to our events and to support us - no matter if you're a DJ, MC, admin, Ambassador, regular punter, etc. We are all part of one team and we all work together to keep this scene going.

The lovely @inertiancl team have been fabulous and so professional/thoughtful in their organisation of this event. They are lovely guys, great djs and great promoters. Would love to work with them again up North! 💜

Your generosity to donate to @musicvenuetrust was incredibly appreciated and we handed out some statistics that we hope will further inspire you or influence others to start considering how we help our venues. Also we learned that you guys really like socks 😂😂 socks for charity it is!

Ultimately, these are the kinds of photos that stand the test of time in the scene. Love, grace, support, community coming together, raising awareness and money for charity - just to be "part" of a movement to help our scene is a privilege and we are all so lucky that we have such an amazing community to fall back on. It's important we remember that ultimately our legacy for the scene we wish to leave is love, creativity and kindness. All things our communities benefit from. And we saw a lot of that yesterday. Thank you!

Here are some photos of the last standing stragglers at the end. We are getting a lot of usage from this sign 😂 taken in Basement 45 by @inertiancl

Our last artist cards are available for the @inertiancl X Croakheads: 1st birthday event at @basement45 on Friday 21st November in Bristol.💜💜

For this round, get to know the @croakheads and @inertiancl resident teams' choices for MCs and hosts.

Firstly, we have the incredible talent of @ziraflo_. Zira Flo is somewhat of a local superstar - with several takeovers and local collective performances. Her breathy vocals and relatable lyrics draw audiences in, as well as her sweet charm and bubbly personality. 💜🐸

Next, we have @wilt.wav - another local legend who is known for his bars on more deeper, minimal sounds. Wilt has an infectious sense of humour and feel good attitude that draws people in for positive and warm energy. He was also the vocalist on our recent Save Our Venues mix that Zaba did to promote our event and venue closure awareness.

Finally, we have @itsskeshhh. Another local legend. Master of adapting to a variety of styles - from jump up to deep rollers to liquid. Kesh's energy serves a cool, collected presence and he commands the stage with honour. He knows how to sync up with a DJ and bring some heat to those bars.

We are super proud of our MC selections, and very proud to showcase their enormous talents.

We can’t wait to see you there!

Our next DJ artist cards are available for the @inertiancl X Croakheads: 1st birthday event at @basement45 on Friday 21st November in Bristol.💜💜

For this round, get to know who the @croakheads resident team has invited to play.

If you fancy a purely Bristol sounding, minimal, dark and sprinkles of neuro takeover - look no further than the talented DJs @aanka.music, @sekhmet_uk and @kodeka_dnb 💜🐸

Their creative styles are nothing short of impressive and as you may be aware, Sal and Kate have a made a significant footprint in the landscape that is Bristol with their collective @fullspectrumbristol. Their dedication to creating a scene in Bristol that is non-binary, non-white, LGBQTIA+ and female championing is extremely impressive. Their community centric events and guest mix challenges have provided many opportunities for artists and DJs - and they should feel very proud of their legacy. 💜🐸

And we also have the amazing @batemanuk - ready to hit us up with some dancefloor, jungle flavours and all the high energy vibes you need with some classics to sing along to. His sets are nonstop and even feature some of his own production. Definitely not a DJ you want to miss!

Our final cards will be our amazing MCs that @inertiancl and us have carefully selected.

We can’t wait to see you there!
