Alright, we are in the home stretch here on the Selfie train and it’s time to highlight some special folks that have contributed to the creation of this little EP I’m calling “Unrequited Admiration Society” (I’ll go into more detail in a later post behind the meaning) soon to drop on @ropeadope via @moderniconrecordings this Friday! Today, I’m featuring non other than my man @infernodash ! Not only a multi-instrumentalist, but can runs circles around any rapper - I would say the best I’ve ever heard!! You can hear him especially on the last track of my EP on “Catch Me” where he’s laying down keys and takes the tune in a completely unintended direction that puts the proverbial cherry on top of the whole album. On this exact date 2 years ago, I received a message (1st pic) with a declarative statement instead of a question; a statement that would literally transform our bond and reveal my future… After a few months of casual dating, @anletreece_ decided we had done enough playing around and that I was hers lol. Little did I know she was just confirming what I already felt in my spirit. Present day, following multiple life-altering and foundation-shifting events, here we stand before God and Man fully affirmed and made stronger through the fires of adversity. We’ve grown from two people learning one another into one big, beautiful blended family. Only thing left now is the party and paperwork, but I look forward to addressing her as my wife🥰
