From Peruvian clam stew, to tableside guac, to crispy pork belly lettuce cups, to butternut squash tacos, we had a lovely meal at The Mission with @rasello and @jsitaliano. Oh and my first time trying sake from a juice box! by @infoodelitydiary

A 2-day lasagna recipe I'm officially adding to my repertoire. Photos from first and second attempts both made within a month of each other. Lots of fresh seasonal veggies from the farmers market as well as locally made spicy meatballs. Truly one of the greatest things I have ever made or eaten. by @infoodelitydiary

We waited all day to eat Michelin Star street food from the living legend @jayfaibangkok. This 70+ year old family restaurant has earned countless awards and featured on many food and travel shows. I wish I had a picture of the 80 yr old chef with her infamous big goggles but I didn't take any in accordance with their policy. (That didn't stop many other entitled tourists sneaking pictures of her.)

We tried going to the restaurant a couple of days before but the queue was full by the time we got there. So we arrived right when it opened on our second try and we were still the 55th order in the queue (which amounted to a 7-hour wait!)

While we waited, we met a cast of characters including fellow Californians who we shared beers with and an older couple with big Karen energy who for whatever reason took a big liking to us. We also snacked all day at the restaurant next door and went in long walks

The first picture is of Chef Jay Fai's signature crab omelette. I don't really get down with seafood like that but this dish was nothing short of divine. My Baby Umami's go to Thai dish is Pad See Ew and she remarked that Jay Fai's version had the best noodles she's ever had. by @infoodelitydiary
