That’s a wrap on Detroit Design Month!

Huge shoutout to our incredible INFORMers, Sam Harrison and Soleil Nguyen, who designed and built this amazing display for Detroit Design Month. Seeing the project come to life from initial concept to the finished piece has been incredible.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, attended the events, and supported design this month. Watch the video for a final look at the completed project!

Tackling Detroit blight, one block at a time!

Last week, our team showed up for @liferemodeled’s annual 6-day project to help clean up and beautify Detroit neighborhoods.

Our mission? Clearing out a heavily overgrown alleyway behind our assigned block. But beyond the physical work, the highlight of the day was meeting local residents, chatting with neighbors, and lending a hand wherever we could.

Seeing the transformation made every minute worth it. We love our city and are always proud to show up for Detroit!

Kimpton Providence was designed to be more than a place to stay. INFORM helped shape the mixed-use development from pre-design through design development, creating a hospitality destination that connects the guest experience with the surrounding community.

A 150-key flagship hotel is paired with ground-floor dining, a rooftop restaurant and bar, event spaces, and a 25,000 - 30,000 square foot market and food hall designed to create opportunities for local vendors and bring new activity to the neighborhood. Residential uses above add another layer to a destination designed to stay active throughout the day.

Memorable hospitality doesn't happen by accident. It starts with thoughtful planning. Every decision, from the arrival experience to the lobby, restaurant, guest rooms, and amenities, shapes how people experience a destination.

When those spaces work together, they create places guests remember and want to return to. INFORM curates environments that feel natural and connected because the best projects consider the entire guest experience, not just individual spaces.

Successful hospitality projects create value beyond the building itself. For Allegiant Cherry Grove, INFORM reimagined the traditional planned unit development as a connected destination where hospitality, residential, public space, and the natural environment work together.

The master plan responds directly to its coastal setting, integrating strategies for dune restoration, mobility, energy efficiency, and public space while creating a destination designed for both visitors and the surrounding community.

Great hospitality design starts long before someone checks into a hotel or sits down for dinner. It starts with understanding the community, creating memorable experiences, and solving the technical challenges that make everything work behind the scenes.

At INFORM Studio, those ideas guide every hospitality project we design, from boutique hotels and mixed-use developments to restaurants and residential destinations.
