Because we shouldn’t be building infrastructure like it’s 1956 still. #nextgen_infrastructure #infra_opts #infrastructural_optimism

Informal Cities 2026 Bogota, Colombia. That’s a wrap. Thank you so much to Maria Jaramillo at LACPlan, former secretary of planning for the city, for this opportunity to consider informal knowledge and how it is made visible through exploration and care. @washusamfoxschool by @infrastructural_optimism

Astonishing how much of the Big U is complete or in process. The absorptive edge on Manhattan’s lower portion is no accident. It’s taken two decades - sparked by a global design competition and exhibition - to turn the tides. Great tour organized by @waterfrontalliance and @tomhklein. by @infrastructural_optimism

@0xjasonmurray snapped this photo of my presentation at the MAK garage top. It really captures the LA-ness of the space, all palm and sky and barely there edges, with smart and engaged people asking good and hard questions. I’m really proud of this work and thrilled so many showed up to hear about it. Thank you again @makcenter and @somfoundation for the fellowship opportunity. by @infrastructural_optimism
