POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

During the #aprilshowers, one evening as I was sitting beside my favourite window and smelling the wet soil and feeling the cool breeze.

This was my first ever #hindipoetry completely unintentional. But ever since then I have enjoyed playing around this genre.

P.S. I had shared this on my story months back but now I feel it deserves a feed post 😬

(🔊 Sound on)
We are born with all the power, secret, tools, knowledge, wisdom, capabilities to thrive in this human body. Yet somehow we have lost the manual. We search everywhere but forget to look inside. There's a #hiddentreasure dying to be discovered!

Created this piece for the initiative #createforthewild by @wildotters and @greatstate.aleworks which got sold at the art auction last night. It's a charity event to raise money and awareness towards wild life conservation.

*TIDAL MEMORY*

Medium: Layered #UpcycledTextiles with hand embroidery.

Tidal Memory traces an ancient knowing carried through tide and time. Beneath the moon’s reflection, mother turtles return to the shores that once held them, while hatchlings move toward the sea guided only by light and instinct. Through layered upcycled textiles, the piece reflects the quiet rhythm between ocean, memory, and birth—where every journey begins with remembering.

I was particularly drawn to the cyclical journey of sea turtles—the instinctive return of each mother to the shores where life once began, and the quiet continuation of that cycle through the hatchlings. Using upcycled textiles felt deeply connected to this idea of return and renewal. Fabrics once made for everyday use and consumption are reimagined into a new form, carrying their own histories into another cycle of life.

✨ A night of cacao, breath, and creative connection.

This *IMMERSIVE ART SESSION* was part of the @metamorphosis.retreat
hosted by @dr.ruhisatija and powered by @theunboredclub ⚡

Grateful to have held this space —
for presence, expression, and quiet transformation.

A heartfelt thank you to the entire team,
and most especially to @studiotilde
for documenting the session so beautifully,
and for bringing such kind, gentle energy into the space. 🌿

A rare experience where instead of people negotiating to lower prices with the Artist, they were outbidding each other to claim the Art.

The evening was absolutely gratifying and so exciting to witness art lovers being so active in the Auction.

This was my first experience witnessing and participating in an Auction. It is extremely validating as an Artist to be appreciated and recognised for the creation.

At the end it feels totally worth all the number of hours, energy and love we put in to create something out of nothing. It also becomes extra special when the Art is for a cause.

Thank you @wildotters and @greatstate.aleworks for choosing Art to spread awareness and raise money.

And thanks to my brother @shailpik for capturing this special spotlight moment ✨
