*Big Announcement*

One more dream is completed !

During the interview shoot of "our mountain valley home". That time Sudarshan asked how can you sleep anywhere like this ?

So just crack a joke I said I had a dream that our documentary is screening in "IDFA" and we laughed

Today IDFA announced the lineup for "youth documentary competition section". They have selected only 9 documentary from the world. and one of them is "Mahalle's School- family going live" this is my debut Directorial Film.

Which is completed during pandemic, I shot this film around my sister's family when I was staying in Akola. Made a 10 min cut out from 40hrs footage just to pitch and take part in festivals .
Now that 10 min cut is selected in one of my dream festival.

IDFA is the prestigious and important Documentary festival in the world and they provide documentary market, funding, etc. And the documentaries which I have studied are also screened here.

I am very happy to be part of this IDFA.

This year has been exceptionally kind and generous.

It was my first visit to LA and while all my sightseeing was restricted to the film independent office, I wouldn’t have experienced LA any other way.

I was selected for the 2026 Film Independent Documentary Producing Lab, and I represented @ingleakshayp’s project ‘In search of Missing Clouds’ - a beautiful, important and urgent story.

It’s always so magical to be part of such intimate, warm cohorts. Brought back so much learning, facts and insights from my week there. Hoping that it all translates to In search of Missing Clouds coming out into the world very, very soon! :))

I’ve been busy and kept delaying this post, but finally, here it is.

On July 18th, I got my first car,
Mahindra 3XO.
A huge shoutout to Pooja tai for making this possible and Aai-Baba , Who have stood behind every crazy dream I've chased ❤️

To find new places,
To reach every impossible story,
And well, I guess the journey begins now.

This is in true appreciation of FLICKERS' Rhode Island International Film Festival, who took the effort to put together a semi-finalist list — recognizing films that didn't make the final cut, but stood out enough to be seriously considered.

A festival as prestigious as any BAFTA-qualifying one, this must have taken a huge effort. The fact that they personally let filmmakers know their work was watched, valued, and appreciated — even without a selection — shows how much this team respects the craft and the people behind it.

ON HOLD is honoured to be part of this list. This film exists only because a small group of friends believed in the story and gave their time and trust to bring it to life — this recognition belongs to them just as much as it belongs to the film.
