STOMP, oil on cradled panel, 16 x 12 in . Inspired by a couplet from the Greek poet, Konstantinos Dimitriadis, “what didn’t you do to bury me / but you forgot that I was a seed” #seattleartist #seattleart #pnwart #pnwartist #contemporaryexpressionism by @ingrid_sojit

Revisionist Historians II, oil on cradled wood panel 18 x 24. Glad I kept working on the same theme and design because I changed my mind about the subject matter the more I worked on it! #seattleartpost #seattleartists #contemporaryexpressionism #pnwart #pnwartist by @ingrid_sojit

I’m making art🎨😊I still exist and I create things every single day whether it’s with paint, vegetables , flowers or dancing 💃 Just can’t keep up with social media anymore the way I used to 🌸🌼 Well that’s all, going back to painting now 😎 #seattleartist #workinprogress #paintingpalette #seattleart by @ingrid_sojit

BOOK RANT sold to a librarian 📚😊 thanks to the extraordinary curatorial prowess of Stephanie Hargrave 🥰 I will miss it but I’m also overjoyed about this particular sale because, in part, this piece was inspired by my stepfather who had a degree in library sciences. The style was strongly influenced influenced by Jean-Michael Basquiat, whose most prolific years chronologically over lapped with my book-centered intellectual awakening. Wonderful to know that expressing myself in such a personal way can strike a chord with someone else 🫂#contemporaryexpressionism #seattleart #seattleartscene #seattleartist #pnwartist by @ingrid_sojit
