a serpents' story: the second installment
.
.
hello my loves ! been playing with this piece for a few months now, and am excited to share with you all :)
everyone knows Adam and Eve, but i think the serpent is so misunderstood ! he's simply trying to share the knowledge of the world. snakes have always spiritually represented wisdom, duality, healing, and even chaos. by @inkofonyx

an excerpt from "The Diary of Frankenstein"; Man, or monster ?
.
April is Sexual Assault Awareness month, and here's the stats:
Nationwide, 81% of women and 43% of men reported experiencing some form of sexual harassment and/or assault in their lifetime.
One in three female victims of completed or attempted rape experienced it for the first time between the ages of 11 and 17.
An estimated 17.7 million American women had been victims of attempted or completed rape as of 1998.
2.78 million men in the U.S. had been victims of attempted or completed rape as of 1998.

Sexual Assault is more than the Me Too movement. It's on TV, at school, between friends. If you have ever experienced sexual assault, you are not alone .
RAINN’s National Sexual Assault Hotline offers free, confidential, 24/7 support in English and en Español.

my current pet project: is this the end of love like this ?
.
.
this has been in the vault since 2021 (wowza!!) and has been through several revisions in the past 3 months. this piece is unfinished, and I'm enjoying the process of renewing this body of work.

this will also (likely?) be my last love poem for the foreseeable future ! i fear im out of my longing for love phase ! in a new era seeking change and my poetry will reflect that <3 by @inkofonyx

hi my loves :) I wrote and edited this wonderful poem almost a year ago, and performed it to a wonderful group of BIPoc queer poets and artists. after sitting in the vault since last August, I've decided to give this piece a permanent platform.

thank you for reading ! I hope you can stomach it <3
