Little girl me is so proud of 29 year old me 💕

I didn't check off all the boxes on my to-do list.

I didn't get a degree.

I didn't lose a ton of weight and become a barbie doll.

I didn't make a million $$$

Instead,

☆I broke cycles

☆I healed wounds

☆I alchemized my pain

☆I became my own hero

☆I surrounded myself with love

☆I built my career around love & integrity

☆I am cultivating a home, family and life that is centered around peace, love and respect

I built a better life than any list could contain.

I'm so proud of ME 🥳

How’d you meet? We used to work together.

First Date: Pho because George had never had it before.

Married: March 23, 2019

Age difference: 2 years

Who was interested first: we both claim to be interested since we first met. I asked him on a date first though

Who is taller: George, by like an inch

Who said I love you first: George, and I said it right back💕

Most impatient: it really depends on the scenario.

Most sensitive: Me, for sure

Loudest: that would be MEEE 🤣

Most Stubborn: haha oh we are both way too stubborn 🙄

Cooks better: We both cook with different styles and I love what we create together ❤️

Where is the furthest you two have traveled together? Florida

Who drives when you are going somewhere together? It depends on who's up for the drive.

That feeling when your friends care about you as much as you care about them. They check in, show consistent support, send encouragement & affirmations, share food, finances & resources during times of challenge, and even plan birthday stuff for me 🥰🩵

I consider myself so lucky every single day to be surrounded by a community of people that not only help me but also heal me 🫂

For every fake friend who used me, every person who saw me as someone they can extract kindness & generosity from, every individual who saw me as the "feel-good friend" instead of seeing me as a real person who deserves to receive the same love I give out, I have been blessed 10 fold, for every bit of tenderness I have ever given out is being returned to me in the times I need it most, by people I never thought I'd meet.

Also, my friends are the coolest, most talented, well-respected individuals. I am so glad I was rejected from sitting at all the wrong tables, because now I'm sitting at the best seat in the house, at the table with the best people in the world 🫂

Btw I couldn't tag all of my friends because there's literally so many of you, how blessed am I 🥰 but if you have reached out, checked in on me, hug me every time you see me, you're included in this too 🩵 I am so grateful & I love you all so much! I am abundant in love, friendship, and community 🌈

Thank you for liking, sharing, commenting, posting to your story & donating. I'm going to continue believing that community is the cure & I'm going to continue being the villager I always have been. To those who take advantage of my kindness or mistake my brain injury for lack of awareness, to those who think less of disabled individuals like myself simply for needing medical care, my kindness will no longer be accessible to you. I will not allow toxic behavior to ruin who I have become, you will simply lose access to those parts of me. Meanwhile, my true community knows I will always be here & be resourceful for those who move with authenticity & love.

If you've checked on me, been a friend, sent me loving & healing energy, shared my posts, etc, I appreciate you from the bottom of my soul. I see your deep loving care & efforts to help however you are able to in the midst of your own struggles.

I love my life, I love my career, I love my family more than anything else. I'd really like to get back to my normal life as quickly & easefully as possible 😩💔

You cannot convince me a powerful m@n was not involved in any way, shape, or form in this incident. You cannot convince me a m@n isn't behind this until I see some actual real evidence. RIP to the sweet baby's soul and I truly hope the girl is alive & safe & escaped whatever situation that would ever lead to something this horrific 💔

EVENT ALERT!

THIS THURSDAY 6/18
5-7PM come & go as you please

I am hosting these picnic dinners to help raise funds for my medical treatments. They will likely be held at Cheeseman park, but I do have a backup indoor location if the weather is unfavorable. No one will be turned away for inability to pay the suggested donation. Please sign up ahead of time so there will be enough food for everyone!

I will be cooking everything from scratch, there will be vegan & gf options available & I can almost always accommodate food allergies with advance notice.

Love y'all fr thank you for your support & donations & shares. It means a lot to me! GFM is having issues, I could start another fundraiser but with the 5-8 day waiting period & the fees they take, it may be more helpful to donate directly.

Treatment is roughly $17k for the entire year, encompassing intensive physical therapy focus on the spine & head, dry needling, chiropractic care, pain management & seziure prevention.
Physical therapy is what costs about $9-10k for the 12 months, and requires it up front for out of pocket patients like me. No I don't have private insurance, nor can I afford it with pre-existing conditions, and no I do not qualify for state insurance. If I can at least start getting my medication treatments & chiropractic care, it can alleviate a ton of problems.
