POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I love y'all & thank you for your continued support. Please donate if you can 🫶 I know we are all struggling but every little bit helps, truly 🫂

Thank you for liking, sharing, commenting, posting to your story & donating. I'm going to continue believing that community is the cure & I'm going to continue being the villager I always have been. To those who take advantage of my kindness or mistake my brain injury for lack of awareness, to those who think less of disabled individuals like myself simply for needing medical care, my kindness will no longer be accessible to you. I will not allow toxic behavior to ruin who I have become, you will simply lose access to those parts of me. Meanwhile, my true community knows I will always be here & be resourceful for those who move with authenticity & love.

If you've checked on me, been a friend, sent me loving & healing energy, shared my posts, etc, I appreciate you from the bottom of my soul. I see your deep loving care & efforts to help however you are able to in the midst of your own struggles.

I love my life, I love my career, I love my family more than anything else. I'd really like to get back to my normal life as quickly & easefully as possible 😩💔

You cannot convince me a powerful m@n was not involved in any way, shape, or form in this incident. You cannot convince me a m@n isn't behind this until I see some actual real evidence. RIP to the sweet baby's soul and I truly hope the girl is alive & safe & escaped whatever situation that would ever lead to something this horrific 💔

Today in Denver, we celebrate our freedom, remember those who are still fighting for their rights to LOVE ❤️ and honor those who lost their lives for simply expressing themselves.

No one is free until we are all free,
But today, they cannot steal our joy, our connections, our community, or our 🌈LOVE🏳️‍🌈

HAPPY PRIDE & MAY OUR COLLECTIVE LOVE CONQUER ALL 🩵

EVENT ALERT!

THIS THURSDAY 6/18
5-7PM come & go as you please

I am hosting these picnic dinners to help raise funds for my medical treatments. They will likely be held at Cheeseman park, but I do have a backup indoor location if the weather is unfavorable. No one will be turned away for inability to pay the suggested donation. Please sign up ahead of time so there will be enough food for everyone!

I will be cooking everything from scratch, there will be vegan & gf options available & I can almost always accommodate food allergies with advance notice.
DM me to sign up 🫶

P.S. I always make dessert!

Love y'all fr thank you for your support & donations & shares. It means a lot to me! GFM is having issues, I could start another fundraiser but with the 5-8 day waiting period & the fees they take, it may be more helpful to donate directly.

Treatment is roughly $17k for the entire year, encompassing intensive physical therapy focus on the spine & head, dry needling, chiropractic care, pain management & seziure prevention.
Physical therapy is what costs about $9-10k for the 12 months, and requires it up front for out of pocket patients like me. No I don't have private insurance, nor can I afford it with pre-existing conditions, and no I do not qualify for state insurance. If I can at least start getting my medication treatments & chiropractic care, it can alleviate a ton of problems.

Please share & donate if you are able.
Thank you bunches 🩵🫂

HEALTH UPDATE:

I am doing better after several weeks of recharging at home. I am still in pain, pretty much have had a constant headache for 7 weeks now, but sometimes it flares up to am unbearable migraine and sometimes it just lingers and hurts.

A friend asked me last night how I could handle being around music & so many people with the pain I'm in.

The answer is this:
When you suffer from chronic pain/illness, at some point the depression of being isolated 24/7 is less bearable than the pain that comes with socializing. Being out with friends, laughing & catching up, being shown so much love, sharing my recent poetry, all of that made the lingering headache worth it. And yes, it did flare up and I had to head out early (as expected)

But laughter is truly the best medicine 🫶

Thank you so much to @powerpuffmani & @innercircleopenmic & @_river_bar_ for creating a safe & loving environment 💖 so so glad I came out for the last hurrah at that location & so excited to see the new spot when I feel up for it!

Thank you all for sharing & boosting my fundraiser. I deeply appreciate the donations & kind words while I am working towards getting into treatment & getting better. GoFundMe L!nk is in b!o as usual 🫶

P.S. By "lock down," I just mean that I feel trapped in my house. No one is forcing me to stay home except my health 🫠 but for those concerned, I am SAFE & GOOD and the only reason I say "lock down" is because that's exactly how my body has made me feel – trapped.

HIGHLY disappointed in the lack of compassion from people I grew up with, but unfortunately I am not surprised. I appreciate you letting me know where the trash is though, cause its time to mass remove some people.

Community > followers

I don't need lurkers I deserve community support, and that's exactly what I'm surrounded with. Time to cut ties entirely with anyone who lacks compassion, empathy and kindness.

This ain't a crash out, I'm just taking the trash out 😉

Yes, this was actually said to me recently in response to my safety being jeopardized.
