The VFPA had announced that the dredging is underway from now until February 2027. What can we do? We have a few suggestions but if anyone has any other ideas, let’s get together and support TWN’s stewardship of the Inlet, and stop the dredging!!! taken in Burrard Inlet by @inlet_collective

One way you can support him, and Tsleil-Waututh members and allies, is by opposing the ongoing dredging to protect the health of the Burrard Inlet tomorrow.

This gathering is welcome to all, and family friendly. @catesparkpc is offering major discounts for people without a kayak, and there will be a gathering on the beach by @decolonialsolidarityvancouver for everyone without boats.

Event: Our Home, No Poison, No Dredging - Ceremony with Tsleil-Waututh members and Elders

🏡 Strathcona Park, 857 Malkin Ave (Bring a chair!)
🥗 Bring food to share as we feast and honour the ancestors. All are welcome.

We must protect the waters of Burrard Inlet and ensure a healthy future for generations to come. Please join us for an inclusive ceremony to learn, reflect, and stand together against dredging in our home.

Pipe Ceremony and then we will share our next steps, speak about the gifts each of us brings, and strengthen our collective efforts to protect these sacred waters.
