Hi, I’m Anette. ❤️

I think it’s finally time I officially introduce myself.

I’m a mom of two.

I’m watching my oldest, Mila, turn into this beautiful, independent young woman. She’s driving, she has a job, and somehow I blinked and here we are.

And then there’s my son, Liam.

Liam came into this world at 23 weeks, weighing just 1 lb 5.9 oz. I’ve spent the last 10 years watching him break through every expectation, every “might not,” and every unknown that came with his beginning. Today, he’s a strong, happy 10-year-old who keeps showing me what’s possible. My life has taken me through some pretty incredible highs, some really hard lows, and a whole lot of searching in between.

For more than a decade, I’ve invested in myself. I’ve learned, traveled, trained, sat in rooms, listened to teachers, tried things, failed, started again and collected tools that helped me find my way back to myself.

And underneath all of it was this dream I’ve always had…

I want to help people.

For a long time, I kept feeling that little knock.

You know the one.
The thing inside you that keeps saying, There’s more. I finally answered it.

And now I’m bringing everything I’ve learned—and everything I’ve lived—into Inner Applause.

At the heart of my work is my Mirror Practice, a six-step framework that has changed my life and the lives of women I’ve had the opportunity to work with.

And it all started one day when I caught my reflection in the glass walking through the mall .. I didn’t recognize that woman.

For the first time, I got really still and looked at myself. And I started asking the hard questions.

But more importantly, I started asking the right questions.

That was the beginning of realizing something that changed everything:

No one was coming to save me.

The mirror doesn’t lie.

But the stories we tell ourselves sometimes do.

And I believe there has never been a better time to have conversations like these. We’ve spent years navigating a world that left so many of us disconnected—from ourselves and each other. And by @inner_applause

Hi, I’m Anette Michelle. 👋🏼

I’m equal parts deep conversation, meaningful connection, and get-up-and-dance energy.

For years, I kept feeling the knock to create something more—and I finally answered it.

What I discovered surprised me: my biggest breakthrough didn’t happen in a workshop or retreat. It happened when I finally sat with myself.

I created Inner Applause for those who’ve done the work, felt the high…and still find themselves slipping back into old patterns.

You’re not broken. You need space to integrate, regulate, and hear yourself again.

Sometimes a pattern doesn’t look like a pattern.

Sometimes it sounds like a sentence you say every day without even thinking about it.

“I’m tired.”
“I’m too busy.”
“I can’t.”
“That’s just how I am.”

The first step isn’t changing it.

It’s noticing it. 🪞

A day of wellness, connection and purpose — all while giving back to NICU families.
We’re proud to partner with The Inner Applause Experience, a one-day wellness and empowerment experience taking place Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 10 AM–4 PM at Del Mar Social.
Created by a fellow NICU mom who understands firsthand how overwhelming it can be when your world is turned upside down, this experience is about more than wellness. It’s about creating space to move, breathe, connect, reflect and rise — while helping families who are navigating their own difficult journeys.
Through this partnership, 10% of ticket sales will be donated to Miracle Babies, helping provide transportation, mental health support and essential resources to families with babies in the NICU.
And there’s another way to be part of this incredible day…
TWO tickets to The Inner Applause Experience will be available to bid on at our Breakfast in Sicily silent auction on October 7!

Have you ever ignored a feeling in your gut and regretted it?

I have some news I’m both excited and a little nervous to share: on Sunday, October 11, I’ll be speaking at The Inner Applause Experience alongside 4 heart-led women on a mission. I’ll be telling my personal story in front of a live audience for the first time since 2018. ✨

My talk is about intuition: the gift my two grandmothers lived by, how it skipped a generation in my family, and the journey it took for me to reclaim it and break the cycle. It’s honest, sometimes hard, and ultimately full of hope. I hope you walk away trusting your own inner voice a little more. 🤍

What if the mirror isn’t about how you look… but about how you show up for yourself? 🪞

I started using the mirror every time I caught myself second-guessing, and something shifted.

Not overnight. Not perfectly. But little by little, I started seeing the difference between thinking I trusted myself and actually practicing it.

That’s what the my Mirror Practice framework is about.
Less fixing. More noticing.
Less second-guessing. More self-trust.

Your confidence doesn’t come from waiting until you feel ready. It comes from watching yourself follow through.
