🌺Hawaii changed me for good SO allow me to reintroduce myself 💌⬇️

HIII I’m ✨Lisa🌻, (SO happy ur here) I’ve been teaching hot vinyasa for a lil over a year, a handstand lover, and I loveee talking all things self-love, confidence, and spirituality🌙🌌☁️

my journey started when I broke my 8th rib twisting out of a handstand wrong IMMEDIATELY after my Yoga Teacher Training in 2023 🫠. I remember how it felt to return to my physical practice after 3 months of limited movement while healing the break. even breathing was difficult guys. 🩻

But the biggest battle wasn’t the physical discomfort, ‘twas the MENTAL battle 🤺 The mental block kept me from practicing inversions for so long, even after fully healing. I thought I’d rebreak my rib so I never tried. At that time my mind was stuck in “don’t try or you’ll fail again.” I knew this was wrong & still couldn’t break the spell keeping me in fear. ❤️‍🩹

There was no “perfect moment”, I just decided one day that I was done letting fear control how I was going to live this life. I started handstanding again. One workshop led to many… and one random day in April 2025, I held my first handstand since my rib break! 😭 In one big wave, my confidence returned, & my handstand journey began again…

Today (almost a year later) handstanding has taught me much more than the confidence to invert, like how to breathe, center my thoughts, connect deeper with my mind and body, and most importantly I TRUST IN MYSELF that I CAN always face my fears and still be SAFE!❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

I’m always in workshops and constantly craving more yoga knowledge 📚 I’m still improving my practice, and nurturing that inner light that was lost far too long.☀️

🌀 My goal is to share my experience, support women in breaking free from the pressure to conform in the yoga space, to learn how to listen to their bodies and move with self-trust towards a more authentic yoga practice. WITHOUT the fear of failing or criticism. Because how are we meant to play if fear stays in control?

this time last year I certainly wasn’t holding a forearmstand anywhere, let alone on a beach in croatia 🐬⭐️🧑‍🩰!!!!

since this time last year, I’ve taken more time to notice the unseen work that I’m actually the most proud of all

⭐️I listened better to my body
⭐️I made more time for friends
⭐️I challenged my mind to do the hard things
⭐️I managed where my energy goes more responsibly
⭐️I unlearned habits that weren’t serving me anymore
⭐️I let people close to me do what they’re gonna do without putting guilt on myself

these might seem small, but to me they’re huge and I’ll never take these lessons for granted again.
my spirit feels the difference and that’s all that matters to me 🤍

for the girls struggling as a yoga teacher— I see you and understand you, every minute you’ve poured into this beautiful craft we love has not gone to waste.

the universe is preparing you for your cool girl job era 🧚‍♀️

I definitely don’t have it all figured out but somehow I ended up in Spain as a teacher on a yoga retreat earlier this year, after teaching full time in Florida for almost 2 years.
