#cardoftheday

Essence of water is the concentrated energy of water, the oldest element. In Chinese five elements, it represents deep, spirituality, calm, quiet, and meditative. Peace is a natural state it can evoke.

Card of the day: Moon Baby

The path clears by the light of the moon

By listening to your inner light, your inner wisdom, your inner guidance always knows the way.

Close your eyes and take 3 deep breaths into your belly. Notice how you feel. The wisdom is within ❤️

Friday card of the day:

Essence of Earth
This card represents the concentrated energy of the earth element, with all its grounding, rootedness, stability and nurturing care. The Chinese character for earth sits on top of a Chinese coin, as the earth element corresponds with the root chakra and money, home, food and security.

This card could represent the beginning of a new job, or looking at work in a whole new light. Do you bring the energy of care and nurturing into your daily activities? How can you be more centered in yourself as you go through your day? From your embodied core, shine your light on all you touch and communicate with in your day.

Happy Friday ❤️ Has beautiful weekend 🌸 taken in Studio Hozuki by @innerlightmoonoracle

Yesterday we moved into the second to last #SolarTerm of this Snake Year. Chinese new year is right around the corner. But we still have to pass through #minorcold (#xiao han) and major cold. Zip up your jackets, bundle up, prepare for the quiet stillness of this time of year, before the Lunar New Year bustle. taken in Studio Hozuki by @innerlightmoonoracle

This weekend we entered into #majorsnow , the #21stsolarterm term. For those of you in snowy areas, stay warm! The sun entered the celestial longitude of 255°. We will stay in Major Snow (#daxue )until the sun passes 270°.

We are currently in the first pentad if Daxue, until December 12 . The three pentads are:

Dec. 7- 12

鶡旦不鳴, ‘The jie-bird ceases to crow’
The aggressive jie bird quiets down in Daxue.

Dec. 12-17

虎始交, Tigers begin to mate

Dec. 17-22

荔挺生, The litchi tree begins germinating

There are Three Friends of Winter: pine, bamboo and wintersweet. Wintersweet typically makes its appearance during Daxue, staying bright and strong in the cold snow.

A Chinese proverb: “A timely snow promises a good harvest.” The snowfall kills the pests, that will provide for fertilizer for the following year’s crops. taken in Studio Hozuki by @innerlightmoonoracle
