This morning we entered into the #JuneNewMoon in Cancer. Its message is to be at home. At home in our physicality. At home with ourselves. At home with life.

Trust in ourselves.
Trust in life.

While external circumstances may seem chaotic and disruptive, sink into your center. Connect to the earth. There is great love for you here. You are here to express that love, with your unique expression, imprint and story.

Cancer reconnects us with safety, belonging, sensing and deep waters. Open your heart to this mystical gift. This is a powerfully spiritual New Moon, conjunct Jupiter.

Many blessings!

It’s the longest day of the year! Happy summer solstice, ( Xiazhi ) everyone! For the Western calendar, this can be considered the start of summer. But for the Chinese solar terms, we are actually midsummer. Officially, this year, the Sun will be at the celestial longitude of 90° this evening, June 20th, at 8 p.m.

Traditionally, it was a three day holiday, a time to relax, but not as important of a holiday as the winter solstice.

Rain was not considered auspicious during the 15 days of Xiazhi. Should it rain, though, the best days would be today, the fourth, fifth, ninth and/or tenth days for the years’ harvest.

Historically, the 15 days of Xia zhi were divided differently: a three-day initial period, a five-day middle period, and a seven-day final period. Those are:

A 3 day period: Deer antlers come off: 鹿角解, lù jiǎo jiě

A 5 day period: Cicadas begin to chirp: 蜩始鳴, tiáo shǐ míng

A 7 day period: Midsummer comes, Pinellia ternata grows: 半夏生, bàn xià shēng

Many blessings all!

Happy Strawberry Moon everyone! This one is hard to miss! It peaked early this morning, but should be looking good tonight as well. Have a moon bath and do some sky gazing!

I will be doing a full moon reading tomorrow, so stay tuned.

I’m sure everyone’s been feeling the reverberations of this year. I have been reflecting deeply on what to share and what is best for our current times. Stay tuned for some Oracle channelling and tips on how to connect with yourself and stay grounded during these changing times.

Sending everyone great love, and have a beautiful full moon!

#pickapilereading for the #cardiftheweek

Take a moment to center yourself. Breathe. See if there is a pile that connects with you! That will be your card of the week!

All three cards pulled for this week are soul level cards! A lot going on with the spiritual plane. A lot of chaos this week. Hold steady to your center and be in a state of love. Seeing some reversals in the middle and right piles. This is resistance to the energy of the card coming through.

Left Pile Pick: Card of the Week: Ojizosama: Protector
Looks like some major upheavals for the left pile folks. Could be travel for you this week. Could be some issues coming up with children or parenting. Never fear! Ojizo is there as a support, a guide, and a very strong protector of children, mothers, travelers anyone suffering. The male bodhisattva of Kuan Yin, or compassion incarnate. Be love. Feel love.

Middle Pile Pick: Card of the Week: Yin & Yang, Reversal. Dark in light. Light in Dark. (Reversed)
Things may be coming fast and furious this week. It’s important to hold onto your wisdom. Stay centered and still, like the snake. Also, keep your perspective, as things may seem one way, but are inherently not always as they appear.

Right Pile Pick: Card of the Week: #KuanYin, Compassion & Forgiveness (reversed)
Kuan Yin, goddess of mercy, knows that all beauty, peace and wisdom grows from the mud, the dirt, the darkness, the chaos and confusion. Forgiveness can be a potent healer both for yourself and others. Don’t let your words escape without being mindful. Release your emotions through physicality and being in nature.

Many blessings all! Have a beautiful week!
