I’m excited to open enrollment for Illusions in Camera, a one-day experimental photography intensive.

Working entirely in-camera, we’ll explore multiple exposure, long exposure, painting with light, and practical effects that transform photography into a space for experimentation, intuition, and discovery.

Designed for artists at any stage, this intimate workshop combines demonstrations, collaborative exercises, a guided shooting lab, and individual guidance throughout the day. Enrollment is limited to six participants to allow for meaningful one-on-one instruction.

As part of the Foundation’s commitment to increasing access to arts education, one fully funded scholarship is available for a Louisiana resident. Sharing encouraged, thank you

The Inner Room: A Four-Day Self-Portrait Intensive
November 19–22, 2026 · New Orleans
Limited to four participants.

For more than a decade, self-portraiture has been the primary way I express myself through photography.

This November, I am opening up a unique immersive e experience to learn this process more deeply for the first time.

The Inner Room is an intimate four-day intensive exploring self-portraiture as psychological inquiry, performance, experimentation, and visual world-building.

We will work with light, environment, gesture, objects, movement, symbolism, intuition, and intentional image-making through lectures, demonstrations, guided exercises, sustained shooting, and individual mentorship.

An important part of the intensive will also be collaboration. Participants will work in rotating pairs, learning how to articulate and direct their own images while supporting another artist’s process. This structure of team work has been integral in my own process over the years.

My intention in offering workshops is not to teach anyone how to make photographs that look like mine, It is to help each participant become more conscious of their own visual language and unique voice.

The inaugural intensive will be held November 19–22 in New Orleans and is limited to four participants.
