Posted in b/w, inspired by the beautiful and evocative photography of @gracielaiturbide. I tried to spend the day doing things that brought me home to myself and made me feel alive. I started the day with Pilates and the sauna, then went to the @sfmoma. I was captivated, not only by the excellent composition of her photographs, but by Iturbide’s juxtaposition of death and life, grief and celebration, depicting birth to death, love to grief, and her interpretation of the philosophy of death as a renewal, and not an ending. Many of her photos, as well as pieces by several other artists, severed as oracles to my heart today. #artheals by @insertcoolnamehere

Through good and not-so-good times, my favorite memories are those shared with loved ones 🥺 I hope that we don’t do this same routine for a very very very long time but it is comforting to be in each others energy as we navigate grief. I love you all. by @insertcoolnamehere
