Social Goods is creating the buzz and is on its way to becoming one of Hong Kong’s most popular bakeries!
Is it worth the hype? Definitely. I already went a few times, just to be sure 😉 Great pastries, sourdough (not pictured here, the earl grey sourdough is my favourite), homemade butters, brunch classics… Social Goods ticks all the boxes.
Is it worth the line? I would say yes, but if you hate queuing like me, grab a few pastries for takeaway and avoid peak hours.

Maggie Choo’s is one of my all-time favourite places to go out in Hong Kong 💃 Every Thursday, you can enjoy a cabaret show including professional dancers, vocalists and a live band. This season “Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps” is all about French glamour: 12 numbers across three acts, hand-stitched costumes, and incredibly talented performers. It runs until 31 December.

Look 2: the bold one. If the first set was soft and feminine, this is the complete opposite. Edgy, confident, and a little unhinged 😘 Same studio, same team, completely different energy.

Still not over what @hayamystudio and the team pulled off. If you’re willing to hop on the train from Hong Kong, book it. You won’t regret it.

I still can’t believe this is meee 🥹 I came to the studio super shy, with my very broken Mandarin, and the entire team took extra good care of me. It was an incredible experience and it gave me such a confidence boost - I couldn’t recommend it enough!

Thank you a million times to the @hayamystudio team for this complete transformation, I’ve never felt so pretty in my entire life 💕

📍 Semi-buffet lunch at the @fshongkong 🇭🇰

I just had one of the cosiest dining experiences at The Gallery, located inside the Four Seasons. The restaurant just introduced its new semi-buffet lunch, which focuses on quality, not quantity.

With appetisers, a soup of the day, a main dish served at the table and a selection of homemade pastries, it is the perfect balance between healthy and indulgent food. All ingredients are fresh and high-quality, and you can definitely feel it with every bite.

Whether you’re looking for your next business lunch or want to indulge with a special meal, I couldn’t recommend it enough 🙂‍↕️

📍@ruam_thai, Thai eatery in the heart of Wan Chai 🇹🇭

This one’s part of my Seriously Underrated series, and Ruam absolutely deserves to be here. It’s a no-fuss Thai restaurant in Wan Chai that does every single dish justice. We ordered way too much and genuinely had no complaints. The crab fried rice is comfort food at its best, the whole deep-fried seabass was packed with flavour, and their coconut ice cream with sweet corn might be the best I’ve had in Hong Kong. If you’re craving proper Thai food without the Central price tag, save this one.

📍@nocinohk, handmade pasta spot in Hong Kong 🇭🇰

I’ve been going to Nocino since they opened their first branch in Tai Hang and it never disappoints. We went to their newest branch, tucked away in Kennedy Town, and easily one of the coolest Italian spots in Hong Kong. Everything from the pasta to the desserts feels homemade in the best way. The truffle and forest mushroom fusilli is dangerously good, and their Malakoff (a crispy Gruyère fondue ball) is the kind of starter you’ll think about for days. Don’t skip dessert: Odette’s tiramisu is named after the chef’s auntie and made with almond liqueur.
