24 Inch Arm Wiring
.
I’m building a monster Minibot with a 24 inch articulating arm.
.
This video shows some of the wiring for the arm. The arm will lift a GoPro camera 24 inches off the ground when it’s mounted to a Stealth Pan Tilt Minibot with oversized monster tires.
.
At Inspectorbots, we developed rugged robotic platforms for a wide range of applications.

Minibot Speed Tests
.
I had a customer ask me if I could increase the top speed of the Minibot while it was carrying a 2 kg payload.
.
I jumped at the chance and was soon swapping out the stock motors for higher speed motors which still had plenty of torque and bolting on some taller tires.
.
I mounted a 5 pound barbell weight to the top deck and used a radar gun to determine the speed.
.
I was amazed at the results!
.
Not only was the Minibot able to transport the 2.3 kg payload, but it did so at a top speed of 22 kilometers per hour - as the video demonstrates!
.
At Inspectorbots, we design manufacture and market a line of rugged robotic platforms for a global customer base.
