Note to Self: NOTHING IN LIFE IS FUCKING LINEAR! Listen… I’ve been up, I’ve been down. I’ve been small, I’ve been big. But if there’s one thing I know for sure, I’m never losing myself again.Last year and the beginning of this year? Baby… life was LIFE-ING. I suffer major grief, loss, new chapters, being a mom, running businesses, trying to find balance in this jacked up ass world… I was literally making sure everything and body was okay, and somewhere in there I stopped checking on me.The weight came. The unhealthy habits came. And before I knew it, I didn’t even feel like myself anymore.But you know what? That’s okay. We all have seasons where we fall off.Just don’t get comfortable there.Get your ass back up.That’s what I’m doing. Not because I’m trying to be skinny, but because I miss feeling like me. Y’all… Soulful Sista Sundays: FreakNik Edition felt like one of them 90s summer days when all your people pulled up to the cookout. 😂🤎The music was playing, everybody was singing songs they knew word for word, the food was good, the drinks were flowing, ass was shaking and nobody was in a rush to be anywhere else.And can we talk about the outfits?! Baby, everybody came ready! 😂🔥The whole day just felt good. The kind of good that reminds you life isn’t always about work, responsibilities, and checking things off a to-do list. Sometimes you need to kick back, laugh a little louder, dance a little more, and enjoy being around good people.That’s exactly what Soulful Sista Sundays is for. POV: this is the year I just do whatever the f**k I wanna do 😩😂🤍So for my birthday, I looked over to the fishing rods. That’s been sitting in my living room for MONTHS & decided I wanted to go fishing 🎣😭Mind you… I have NEVER been fishing before a day in my life 😂But that didn’t stop me. I hopped on TikTok University, watched a few videos, grabbed some supplies, Googled a lake near me, and was OUTSIDE.The second I pulled up and saw all the early morning fishers, I got so excited because something about teaching yourself something new as an adult just feels so good 🤍Now let me tell y’all…Fishing humbled me REAL quick 😭😂What looked easy on TikTok was definitely not easy in real life. But honestly? I loved every second of it.It forced me to:✨ ask for help✨ talk to new people✨ be patient✨ laugh at myself✨ keep trying even when I kept messing upAnd the people out there were SO kind 🥹 They shared supplies, taught me techniques, hyped me up… and now your girl done applied for her fishing license because apparently this is who I am now 😂🎣Then boom… evening comes and of course it’s Tuesday which means RUN CLUB regardless birthday or not😭🏃🏽‍♀️My run club family wanted to see a thug cry when the sang Happy Birthday before take off😭😭My tribe asked me what I wanted to do for my birthday and when I said “run,” they definitely cussed me out first 😂 but they still showed up for me anyway 🤍We walked, jogged, ran, laughed, danced, and loved on each other all night. Then they surprised me with balloons and birthday signs and BABY I CRIED 😭🥹This birthday reminded me how beautiful life gets when you stop overthinking and just LIVE.New experiences.Good people.Random hobbies.Big laughs.Unexpected joy.Yeah… I want more of this🤍🤍 by @inspiredbystaci

Y’ALL… 🌱😭I accidentally found the BEST little nursery on Facebook Marketplace and I’m still not over it.Everything is grown in-house and when I say the prices had me shook…✨ 18 herb/veggie/fruit plants for ONLY $20(Meanwhile box stores are charging $6+ for ONE plant 🥴)They also had:🍓 Berry bushes for around $50🌳 Fruit trees starting around $60And if you garden… then you KNOW those prices are CRAZY good.I almost didn’t share because I don’t need y’all buying up all my plants before I go back 😂😂😂 but this place was way too good to gatekeep.So if:🌱 you started gardening late🌱 missed seed season🌱 or have NO idea where to start…THIS is the perfect place to grab starter plants without spending a fortune.📍2520 Mountain Rd, Joppa, MDHappy growing friends 🌿✨ by @inspiredbystaci
