I wouldn’t say Ireland’s cuisine surprises you with its quality—if you know, you know. But I can guarantee that, no matter what you think of it, it’s severely underrated.

These are a few of my favorite dishes we enjoyed, not including anything from our fabulous Michelin rated meal at @aniargalway and a Five Star stay at @ashfordcastle (those are their own posts!).

Aurelle and I spent most of May in Ireland. The last third of that trip, told through my favorite pictures of Aurelle.

The last days seemed a blur… grasping at the time left while not yet having had the chance to reflect on what’s been behind us.

That third included time visiting Inis Mor, Galway, Cong, Ashford Castle, Westport, Roscommon, Athlone, and Dublin.

Aurelle and I spent most of May in Ireland. A bit of a postponed honeymoon and celebration of our first wedding anniversary. Here’s some evidence of that trip, as told through some of my favorite photographs taken of her during the first leg of our time there—in some sort of chronological order… Bear with me these next few days.

Over those first days there was Dublin, Baltinglass, Kilkenny, Kells, Waterford, and Dungarvan.

And first class from Grand Rapids.

Aurelle and I spent most of May in Ireland. Evidenced here, via Aurelle’s photogenic mug, of having visited. The middle part of our time in Ireland.

The mid leg of our trip saw us in Cork, Blarney, Coachford, Killarney, the Gap of Dunloe, Kenmare, Cahersiveen, Dingle, Tralee, Tarbert, Lahinch, Kilcolgan, and Inis Mor.
