Photography is about light and lines and feelings. This made me stop and think for a moment. Thoughts?

I’m opposed to the SAVE Act for many reasons. I believe every voter should be required to show a government ID to vote.

However this Act makes it unnecessarily difficult for people to register to vote. Every citizen has the right to be heard. SAVE clearly favors the wealthy, educated and male citizens - putting voter suppression front and center. It will take away the rights of many and hold others responsible for enforcement without providing resources, training or clear rules and regulations as to which forms of ID will be acceptable. The IDs required seem to vary from state to state from what I’ve read. #saveact #votersuppression by @instalbm

“Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that”. MLK Jr.

A carousel of images from Montgomery and Selma, AL. I was invited to join a small group to visit Montgomery and Selma, AL to learn and experience an incredible few days walking through civil rights historic sites and feeling the heaviness that surrounds it. Proud to be part of @truthretreats which takes people on civil rights tours and provides space to explore, unpack and discuss the experience to build better groups and a brighter future. #mlk #america #civilrights #educationmatters taken in Montgomery, Alabama by @instalbm
