“Widows of Normandy” is OUT 🥹🥹

I first spoke to Rye in July 2023, flew to Nashville to meet her a week later, and she proceeded to make me cry at AJ’s Good Time Bar on Broadway…and it’s been good times ever since.

I’ve met few people like Rye… she has endured more in her 21 (almost 22) years than most will across a lifetime, and it has shaped her into the wonderful human she is today. With 500+ poems written in her Notes app that are waiting to become songs, she is a poet at her core… she’s wicked smaht (human Google), loves Beanie Babies, and loves paying cover bands on Broadway to sing their originals. She’s also one of the funniest people I’ve met (not counting me). Her art will resonate with people for as long as people exist, and I’m incredibly grateful to be a part of the journey from the jump.

@rence you already know… but you were the first person I called, and you immediately said “yes”, for which I’m forever grateful. And I’m equally as grateful that you brought in the immensely talented sweetheart of a human @mickrob23 to form the dynamic production duo. Can’t wait to get the rest of the songs out into the world and continue building with you both.

“Widows” is the start of something permanent. Thank you @iandowlingmusic for the mix and @ericlagg for the master.

And thank you @patersc for your unwavering support and belief in Rye—so happy you are here with us on this journey from Day 1.

Let’s keep grinding, and the good times going ‼️🫡 by @instasam915

Just wrapped the best month of my life… 2 countries, 18 shows, and 9,000+ miles in a sprinter across 25 states. Every day was a grind… driving for 5-10 hours a day, checking in to a new hotel, loading in, building the stage from the ground up, selling merch… and then for 90min, we got to watch Jack play to his avid supporters. Listening to people tell Jack how he has touched their lives was special, but really all these people touched our lives in ways I’ll never forget.

I’m so grateful for everyone who was on the road with us… first, @tomthemailman @samuelsonthegreat @pdotnelson and their team. Mah bwuoiy @prod.chikah who rocked every stage, and is the best roomie ever. @caglacreates who worked tirelessly to capture every moment and is our North Star. @gilmoreleven11 who I couldn’t have done this without and is now a part of our family. Our agents #StephenSchulcz and @mecoughlin for routing the best tour and picking up the phone every time I needed them, whether it 7am or 1am. @joshpbinder the best attorney in the world. Everyone at Columbia, especially @imkarik — I’m sure I’m forgetting someone because it truly took a village.

And the person I’m most proud of is Jack… every morning, this man would peel himself out of bed, a shell of a human, and would sleep the whole car ride, occasionally waking up so he could break a new world record in Mario Kart. Every day, he could hardly speak, and every day, a small part of me would wonder if he was going to be able to play that night. Yet somehow, miraculously, he would dig deep before each and every show, hit the stage and give the best show of his life, each one better than the last. He was born to do this. He was born to be a beacon of light in this world. And the best thing about him is that with every little milestone he hits, he becomes a better version of himself. There are many successful artists, but few continue to become more humble and graceful in their success… that is what separates him from the rest. He is the voice of a generation and is proving to the world that self-care is cooler than anything else.

Cant wait to do this for as long as the universe allows us. Happy thanksgiving 🦃🦃. taken in North America by @instasam915

On July 21st, I met someone who would change my life... his name is @jackkays and he is also going to change the lives of millions of people around the world with his art. After 7+ years working at UTA, I’m going to be starting a new chapter of my career in artist management working with Jack.

Someone smarter than me once explained artist representation like this... “we don’t have the talent to play, but we have the talent to help take talent to new heights.” I have been blessed to be able to work with amazing colleagues and artists who have inspired me for the past 7 years, and I can’t wait to take everything I’ve learned and apply it to this incredible new opportunity.

Jack, I’m going to do everything I can to help you continue to achieve your dreams. We are going to keep watering this plant, and grow it as tall as the moon!!! 🌱🚿

To everyone who helped me along the way (you know who you are), thank you! by @instasam915
