POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I was in LA for a couple of weeks creating a whole bunch of music with some very talented folks. Many thanks to everyone I had the pleasure of working with! These are some of the few moments captured due to the productive nature of the trip :)

"Must We" is officially out everywhere! I'm beyond grateful to be able to share this one with you all. With the amount of heartbreak that went into this song, I'm still in awe of how much it's changed my life. Many thanks to everyone who helped make this possible. Love you all!!

Drove from MT to AZ to work with @thesticksmusic for the first time. We were up at 3 am to beat the sunrise, only to find that Sam left the lights on in the car. So we found the nearest hiking trail and started walking from the Airbnb with all the necessary equipment. After a couple miles, we found this spot. The Sticks are truly incredible to work with and it all feels pretty special to me...
In 2 weeks from now, "Blue Mountain" will be yours 🫶🏻

“Bad For You” is officially all yours

I met @eva.arnby for the first time on January 30th to grab coffee right before a session (that I agreed to but knew nothing about) with @martinmatt. Instead of coffee we impulsively had a glass of wine (or two)… by the time we got to the studio we’d already yapped enough about life to inspire probably five whole songs.

“Bad For You” felt like it spilled out so naturally that within 4 hours we had written the entire song and recorded a demo. It was my first real collaborative writing experience, and it was fun, but the demo was tucked away and I never intended on using it for my own personal writing project.

In April, on my way to crash Eva’s quiet dinner date at Soho House (sorry Eva), she played me the demo and it was the first time I’d heard it since the day we wrote it. I immediately knew we had something special and that I would’ve been dumb not to release this song.

I hope it feels just as special to you and that you can enjoy it over and over again the same way we have. Shoutout to everyone who helped this release run so smoothly. I’m so excited to finally be able to share this song with the world🤩
