A DJ table designed with functionality and affordability in mind.

A standalone, bare-bones modular frame made with industrial aluminium profiles, complemented by conventional OSB wood panels. The assembly uses a minimum amount of hardware, allowing the components to lock into place, creating additional visual lightness.

The gear sits embedded within the table, above two shelves of storage for vinyl and additional equipment.

The simplicity of the construction allows for easy adaptation to different equipment and spaces over time.

“Hearth” 2026 Horst x Fritz-Kola Pavilion

The fire pit is a primitive form of architecture: a circle of light and heat for gathering. Our proposal builds upon this idea: brick seating follows the tree canopy before wrapping around the fire pit, while a sloped circular roof provides shelter from wind and rain while keeping the fire visible to those standing around it. A suspended chimney safely directs smoke upwards and acts as a visual landmark for the festival.

The Pavillion creates a sense of enclosure without strongly separating itself from the surrounding exterior, allowing for people to gather at different scales .Made from readily available waste materials: corrugated metal scraps, lightweight timber offcuts, and repurposed hollow bricks. An approach that is both economical and low-impact.

The installation is designed to be economical, lightweight, and quick to deploy, while preserving the raw character of the venue.

Positioned at the center, the artist is the only fully illuminated element. With their back to the audience, they are immersed in their sonic craft. Ambient coloured lighting dissolves the crowd into a fluid mass of silhouettes, while projectors amplify the dancers’ shadows across the suspended drapery. The installation creates an introspective experience, inviting each participant to dance with their own shadow.

Visitors enter through the foyer, a room bathed in soft, subdued light and structured by a series of suspended mesh fabrics and seating elements. As they weave through the industrial building, guided by sound, they gradually arrive at the dancefloor: an immersive space shaped by light, shadow, and drapery, conceived for both the audience and video recording.

As the next session approaches, we find ourselves looking back at our first one.

We’re still in awe of how it all came together. We made that room feel heavy with sound and let ours Shadows go in the dimmed lights.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, to those who’ll come back, and to the new faces we’ll meet at the next one. <3

And of course shout out our growing crew: @xavzzzz @legros_quentin_ @alexis.mauhourat @man_dlm @chry_bb_ @jkm.wav @julesdaluz @d0ne.png @guillaumenicolle

This project for a nightclub embodies the resilience of party spaces amid growing precarity and the diminishing lifespan of venues within the electronic music scene. The building is conceived as a permanent structure, a lasting refuge for those who sustain and nurture the culture.

Developing the idea of a “Boîte à Miracles”, the nightclub takes the form of a monolithic and enigmatic volume. Its solid concrete shell is wrapped in a reflective aluminium-faced bituminous membrane. As you queue up, one can only imagine the wonders that this space and night may contain.

KÆTTERSK.

A space for electronic music: a club by night and an audio and scenography laboratory by day. Inspired by the Italian Radical ideology and design of the 1960s, the project explores flexibility, transformation, and bold materiality.
Conceived as a contemporary circus for electronic music, it is designed specifically around the needs of sound, performance, and collective experience rather than as a conventional venue.

The project occupies an existing tent-like industrial structure originally used for construction sites. Its cranes, rigging systems, and machinery are preserved and reused to create a constantly evolving dance floor. The space can be reconfigured each night: sound systems move, layouts shift, and acoustics change, allowing every event to produce a different spatial and musical atmosphere.

During the day, Kaeterks becomes a creative workspace with workshops for music production, stage design, and construction. Suspended within the main volume, a lightweight metal framework contains studios, storage, dressing rooms, offices, and bathrooms. The dance floor is built from modular scaffolding and acoustic textiles that can divide or open the space as needed. Colorful fiberglass elements—both functional and scenographic—activate the interior and support many possible configurations.
