NIGHTLIFE DESIGN - 01 Created fully by @intake.studio team using archival footage. In the 60s “disco” cultural revolutions, florentine architecture students re-defined the nightclub. They organized experimental parties merging, music, performance arts, and expositions. From these nights emerged radical architecture collectives; Superstudio, Gruppo 9999, Archizoom, gruppo UFO. Together they create the foundations of “discotecture” ; a modular dancefloor using industrial materials and immersive light projections. The nightclub has always been a political and experimental space, claiming sexual liberation, freedom of speech, and escape from the constraints of conventional society.

The world runs on algorithms— numbers chasing numbers. However our work will always put quality over quantity. We still believe in creating unique experiences, and are looking for new collaborators moving forward. Additionally, we’re launching @intake.studio , a natural evolution of our work. We are forever grateful for our community and can’t wait to share with you what comes next. Love, the Intake Team. Motion design fully produced in-house.
