POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
I’m super proud of my clients who just finished working with me for 4-months (and are continuing to work with me going forward to keep them accountable on their financial journey).

On our first call together the husband said to me, “We’re stuck in a cycle 🔁 . We earn money 💰 , have an idea of what we need to do, but for some reason we end up owing money on our credit card 💳 and are stuck in that cycle 🔄 . We want to break that cycle.”

And that’s exactly what they worked smart to do! 🔥

Where they’re at now:

💳 Paid off 1 credit card & will have the second paid off by the end of the year

💰 Contributing to savings buckets 🪣 monthly - they’re prepared ahead of time & not getting set back each month by big expenses

➡️ Cash flowed a lot of bigger, one off expenses

✈️ Traveled and had the money saved up ahead of time! 😄

🤩 Their emergency fund now is a true emergency fund (because it’s separate from all of their savings “buckets”)

🏡 Prepared ahead of time for how their cash flow will change when their mortgage renews & their mortgage payments will be higher

Most importantly, they’re reduced the tension in their marriage, are on the same page 💕

They’ve completely changed the trajectory of their lives and their kids lives ❤️🥹

How did they do it? ⬇️

They did the scary thing and invested 💰 in themselves (they were very skeptical at the beginning and had no idea how I’d be able to help them).

📊 Implemented a cash flow planning system
🔄 Prioritized “savings buckets” 🪣 alongside debt 💸 repayment
💼 Committed to a 4-month coaching journey so there was enough time for changes to happen

🌟 They were SUPER coachable and did what they needed to do consistently ✅

This journey is about way more than just “tracking” numbers; it’s about prioritizing your financial well-being, thinking differently about money, having a strategy and being consistent to develop a solid financial foundation, for a more secure future.

Let’s go on a journey with past client “B,” who took charge of her financial destiny with determination & discipline.

When she came to me she was $30,000 in debt and living paycheck to paycheck.

🚀 Increased confidence
💬 Improved communication with her partner
💰 No longer living paycheck to paycheck

Three Months In:
😴 Better sleep and reduced anxiety
📈 Making healthier financial and lifestyle decisions
🤝 Looking forward to discussing money

Now:
💳 Paid off $30,000 credit card debt
💰 Full savings buckets

📈 Grown her investments

She opened up and asked for support. And then she invested in herself.

📊 Implemented a cash flow planning system
🔄 Prioritized "savings buckets" alongside debt repayment
💼 Committed to a 4-month coaching journey
🌟 Consistency and dedication were key

B's journey is a testament to the power of intentional cash flow management and the invaluable support of a dedicated coach.

It may have taken me a few months, but I finally took a picture with my latest Conqueror Challenge medal — The Galápagos Islands: 1,162 km ✅ 🥹🏅

I loveeee these challenges, especially as someone who struggled with chronic illness for over a decade.
This medal might not seem particularly special to someone else…

But to me?
It’s a celebration of what my body HAS been able to accomplish. ❤️

I spent years feeling held back by and resentful of my body and my health struggles.

Tracking my movement and seeing what I can do has helped me repair my relationship with my body, my health and fitness.

Most days, my movement looked like walking, running, mat Pilates, strength training, etc.

There were also extra-special experiences that made the journey even more meaningful — like hiking through beautiful places like Yellowstone and Whitefish ⛰️🥾 with people I love.

I love looking back at each challenge and seeing not just the km’s, but all the different activities I did and the memories attached to them. 🥹

When you run a race, you get a medal 🏅 for the day you ran the race.
And that’s awesome.

But what I LOVE about The Conqueror Challenges is that you can track all the different ways you move your body and you get a medal for the JOURNEY.

And that means so much more to me.

It encourages me to move daily even when I’m tired, “busy,” or when it’s absolutely freaking freezing outside and I have to convince myself to get my 🍑 out the door for a walk. 😂

Every little bit of movement adds up.

And eventually, you look back and realize…
Holy shit. Look what my body did. 🥹❤️

These virtual fitness challenges have meant SO much to me on my journey that I even gifted one to a friend who is struggling with chronic health issues. I wanted her to experience that feeling too.

To have something that celebrates what she CAN do, rather than constantly focusing on what her body currently makes difficult.

Because sometimes, when you’ve spent years feeling like your body is failing you, having something that reminds you of what it can do is incredibly powerful.

This medal isn’t just a medal to me.

It’s a reminder of how far I’ve come. ❤️ by @intentionallywealthyco

Most parents want to teach their kids about money.

It’s not a values issue — it’s a time issue.

This is one to save — and to share with another parent or family member who cares about raising financially capable teens.

Between work, practices, meals, appointments, and just keeping life moving, it’s hard to sit down and intentionally teach:

 • how money actually works
 • how earning your own money builds competence
 • how spending decisions connect to real tradeoffs
 • how careers, income, and education really fit together

And yet… this is the stuff that quietly shapes adulthood.

Many of us didn’t learn it growing up — not because our parents didn’t care, but because no one gave them the tools or the time either.

I get it. Truly.

That’s exactly why I built the resources you see in this post — and why I created Your First Million Dollar Decisions.

It’s designed for busy parents who want their kids to become:

✔️ financially competent
✔️ confident earning and managing their own money
✔️ thoughtful about career choices and income
✔️ prepared for real-world decisions (before they get expensive)

This isn’t about turning kids into accountants.

It’s about helping them think, evaluate options, and understand consequences — skills they’ll use for life.

If you want a done-for-you way to give your teen this foundation without adding more to your plate:
👉 Comment “TEENS” and I’ll send you the training & resources.

You don’t need more time.
You need the right tools — and that’s what this is built to provide. by @intentionallywealthyco

My vehicle is a 2012 & honestly I’d like to keep it for at least 3 more years! I often get so much resistance, “but I don’t want to have to pay for repairs!”

“I don’t want it to cost more for me in repairs than a new vehicle would!”

I totally get it.

But you can have a nicely used vehicle that costs you wayyyyy less.

I have a plan in place for when repairs do come up/may come up, I save monthly in a savings account that’s just for vehicle repairs, maintenance & tires (I personally save $200/month). Which is something I suggest every one of my clients does! (if they’re paying off a lot of debt, we’ll start at $50-$75/month depending on the age of their vehicle and condition of their tires.

Because of how I go about my vehicle costs, it not only saves me so much money, it frees up hundreds of dollars a month that I can put towards:

🔥 What really matters to me, what I really value (like my health and hobbies)
🔥 Investing so my money makes me money

After seeing this, does it make you reconsider how much you’re paying for your vehicle or does it make you feel more empowered to drive a used vehicle OR purchase a vehicle that’s more affordable?

I’d love to hear! by @intentionallywealthyco

This summer I did my first “virtual fitness challenge.”

They’re so cool because you can completely customize how you want to complete them, what you count as “fitness.”

You can track any of these plus more: steps, walks/runs, weights, Pilates, yoga 🧘‍♀️, rowing, spinning, biking 🚴, etc etc (they have a ton of options of “fitness” activities and it converts the time you spent doing it to a distance to add up).

For my first challenge I did it as a “rucking” challenge. I personally just tracked my weighted walks and set a km goal and a timeframe I wanted to have it completed by.

As someone who struggled with chronic health issues for years and recovered very poorly from workouts, these challenges felt so accessible and really helped to build my confidence back up as I became more active again and it made me feel like even with my fitness level, I could feel apart of something and celebrated for what my body could do 🫶🏼.

How these virtual fitness challenges work is:

➡️You pick your challenge, there’s tons to choose from!
➡️You choose your distance, most have a short and long one
➡️Purchase it and start tracking your mileage via their really cool app, when you finish, you receive your medal (they’re literally THEE coolest & most unique medals 🏅out there)
They also have a super supportive facebook group

I’ve found I’ve worked out and moved my body much more knowing that I’m working towards a bigger goal! It literally is a huge reason why I’m confident, even when life’s happening, when it’s cold or when it’s harder to prioritize getting in moving your body.

I’m currently working on my second 😁virtual challenge because they are addicting! 🚀

Comment fitness if you’re curious and want to check these challenges out! ⭐️

Posting this now because I just realized I didn’t post it this summer 😅 by @intentionallywealthyco

It surprises me when new I’m talking to new potential clients and they tell me that they’re worried I’m going to tell them to eat less healthy food to save money.

I am not about to tell you to live off rice + beans to fix your finances.
I’m not Dave Ramsey babe. 😂

And if you think I would… you clearly don’t follow me over at @mandyythomas & you don’t know how much of a health psycho I am 🤣

Health is my #1 value — it’s not something I cut corners on or tell my clients to skimp on either 🙅🏻‍♀️.

The #1 thing that supports your health? What you put in your mouth. 🥑🥩 🍳

And what you put in your mouth, affects your mental & emotional health & in turn, your finances.

I eat tasty, healthy meals every day (swipe to see 👀) and so do my clients.
Because cutting out nutrition + joy is not the answer.

When we work together, we’re not slashing your grocery budget into oblivion.

We’re finding smarter ways to grow your GAP (aka the difference between your income + expenses) so you have more $$ for things like:

✅ paying off debt 💸 faster
✅ stacking up savings + emergency funds
✅ covering big expenses without panic

Financial freedom shouldn’t taste bland — and with me, it never will. ✨ by @intentionallywealthyco

Teamwork really does make the dream work!

It’s even more fun doing events that challenge you when you do them with a friend (& client). Thank you @growingibsons for joining me in the Mountie Maker Obstacle Course today, it was a blast!

This was my first year doing any “races” and it’s been such a positive experience. I love challenging myself and the group of people in the running community are so uplifting and supportive.

What a great first year of getting back into running. 💕 by @intentionallywealthyco

Running & money have more in common than you think…

I didn’t improve my 5k time by much this year… but you know what I did build?

➡️ A stronger foundation
➡️ More endurance
➡️ Confidence in my body to run and do hard things

And honestly, that’s a win.
Because every run I’ve done has built me up, even if the progress wasn’t dramatic on paper.
None of it was a waste.

It’s the same with your money.
When you’re getting started, it can feel slow.
✅ The changes might not be flashy.
✅ The progress might feel small.
✅ It might even feel boring at times.

But consistency compounds.
Just like running, cash flow management is about showing up, even when it feels like not much is happening 🎤

So many people quit before they give themselves the chance to see what’s possible. Don’t let that be you 👊🏼

Every intentional decision.
Every transfer to savings 🪣
Every time you check in with your money → it’s strengthening your financial foundation.

Progress might feel slow at first, but one day you’ll look back and realize just how far you’ve come & that the progress has been massive. by @intentionallywealthyco

🏃‍♀️ I teared up finishing my last 5K. Not because of the distance. But because running brings me back to a piece of me I almost lost.

At the end of grade 11, my parents asked if I wanted to move two hours away to the city so I could run track. I jumped at the chance. New school. New friends. Huge leap.

Two weeks into training, the club manager pulled me aside: “Your cheque for the fees bounced.”

I was crushed. Embarrassed. Angry. I called my Dad ready to chew him out.

He said: “Mandyy, I was willing to give you my last $800. I wanted you to have a chance at your dream.”

Gut punch. That moment has never left me.

Growing up, money was always tight. Stressful. And sometimes it felt like the system was rigged — that chasing passions was a luxury only some people could afford. Capitalism has a way of making dreams feel expensive.

So when I run today — no matter the pace, no records set — it’s about more than fitness. It’s about honoring where I came from, what my parents sacrificed, and giving myself permission to return to joy, even if the world once tried to put a price tag on it.

Money + running will always be tied together for me:

➡️ Freedom
➡️ Resilience
➡️ Choosing to keep going — even when it’s hard.
➡️ Tapping into “little” Mandyy who used to love running because of how it made her feel & healing ❤️‍🩹 childhood wounds one run at a time by @intentionallywealthyco
