In the past year, the Intentional Sports campus has welcomed over 2,000 athletes a week— offering over 16,000 hours of sports, wellness, arts and education opportunities.

Through our internal programs coached by our hard-working staff and crucial non-profit partnerships, 2024 has been a year of impact — changing lives on and off our field

We’d like to thank each and every individual and organization that has contributed to our cause through donations, reservations, and partnerships. Without you, Intentional Sports would still be a vacant lot in the North Austin neighborhood.

The work has only just begun. Please consider a tax-deductible contribution to further empower Chicago’s Westside. Click the link in our bio to make a donation today 💚

U14/13’s are all set for this weekends tournament. It was a competitive and intense training session. Coach Herbert talked about remembering the feeling of today’s session, and how we can all replicate that every time we are on the field. Great to see this group continue to learn, improve, & set a high standard for not only themselves but for all the younger teams. ⚽️💚 #futbol #team #playerdevelopment taken in Intentional Sports by @intentionalsports

We were grateful to welcome members from the Promus Capital Management team to the North Austin Center for a day of service, connection, and team building!

Throughout the day, Promus employees volunteered across @bythehandclub, @thegapc, and Intentional Sports.

At By The Hand, the team created murals and banners centered around the semester theme, “Growing Together." At Grace and Peace Church, Promus helped prepare for the upcoming Christmas event, organized toys and winter shoes for families and teenagers, and supported the food pantry.

The day wrapped up at Intentional Sports, where the Promus team had the opportunity to connect with their colleagues in a different setting—and enjoy some friendly competition with kickball and knockout.

Thank you, Promus, for investing your time and energy into organizations serving the North Austin community! taken in Intentional Sports by @intentionalsports

We were honored to represent Intentional Sports and the @intentionalpeaceleague at the 2026 @stridesforpeace National Gun Violence Prevention Expo!

@iamjimmiebrooks_, Assistant Director of Basketball and Founder of the Intentional Peace League, spoke about using basketball to promote peace, build community, and create positive opportunities for youth and young adults.

Creating a safer community is central to our work. Since opening our campus, youth gun victimization has decreased by 50% within a 0.5-mile radius, according to Chicago Police Department data.

Through the Intentional Peace League and our collaboration with @peaceplayers_us , we provide free, competitive basketball alongside mentorship, conflict resolution, and leadership development.

Thank you, Strides for Peace, for hosting a powerful National Expo in Chicago and bringing together organizations dedicated to creating safer, stronger communities nationwide. taken in Hilton Chicago Hotel by @intentionalsports
