☕ Raise Your Cup: Celebrating women coffee farmers

This October, we’re proud to participate in the Raise Your Cup campaign with Equal Origins, celebrating women coffee and cocoa farmers in recognition of 2026 as the Year of the Woman Farmer.

InterAmerican Coffee nominated Aurora Izquierdo, director of Colombia’s ANEI cooperative, whose coffee we’ve purchased for more than a decade. Her story, shared on October 6, offers a glimpse into her work and leadership in coffee.

We’re inviting you to read Aurora’s story, learn more about her journey, and help amplify her voice. If her campaign post reaches 200 shares by October 15, InterAmerican will donate $2,000 to a women farmer-led initiative.

Invest in the women who farm the coffee and cocoa we all depend on. 🧡

Gifts to the Origin Fund go to three farmer organizations Equal Origins partners with: one coffee and one cocoa organization in Colombia, and one in Honduras. Each one has its own roadmap for investing in the women who farm. The plans are theirs. Our goal: $15,000.

Your cup can count twice: share Aurora’s post (just before this one). If it reaches 200 shares by October 15, @interamericancoffee will donate $2,000 to programs for women coffee and cocoa farmers.
