Invest in the women who farm the coffee and cocoa we all depend on. 🧡 Gifts to the Origin Fund go to three farmer organizations Equal Origins partners with: one coffee and one cocoa organization in Colombia, and one in Honduras. Each one has its own roadmap for investing in the women who farm. The plans are theirs. Our goal: $15,000. Your cup can count twice: share Aurora’s post (just before this one). If it reaches 200 shares by October 15, @interamericancoffee will donate $2,000 to programs for women coffee and cocoa farmers. Thank you to the partners standing alongside our first six women: Ernestina, alongside Café Moto Zoraida, alongside Equal Origins & HRNS Carolina, alongside Ascension Coffee Roasters Bu Tika, alongside the Coffee Quality Institute Pauline, alongside Peet’s Coffee Aurora, alongside InterAmerican Coffee Give at the link in bio. 👆 #RaiseYourCup #IYWF2026

That path allowed her to see her territory from other perspectives. Today, she takes pride in seeing families build a dignified future on their farms, and young people take on new leadership. “The real achievement is knowing that behind every bean there is a family that can live better...” Raise Your Cup: 15 women coffee and cocoa farmers, one story each day. It’s been almost 10 months since I moved to Hamburg. My first chapter here wrapped up a bit sooner than expected, but between all those hours at the roasting machine and officially becoming a Q Grader, it was a solid run. For years, I’ve been quietly working on a personal project in the background. Recently, with the help of AI and a very supportive friend, I finally managed to shift things into high gear. Today, I’m super excited to announce the launch of Version 1 of coffeedictionary.com! I’m already confident that this is the largest and most comprehensive coffee dictionary out there, but it is still only at 20% of its full potential. While it will continue to grow as a side project, the vision is much bigger and to get there, I need the right people. That’s why I’m looking for teammates to join the journey. If you have an eye for visuals and UI design, or if you’d like to take on an editorial role to help expand the dictionary into other languages, I’d love to connect. Go check out the site, let me know what you think, and drop me a DM if you want to help build something great for the global coffee community!

The annual Grounds for Health green coffee and equipment auction returns Sept. 23-24, offering roasters a range of traceable, high-quality green coffees while raising money for cervical cancer prevention programs in coffee-growing communities. The current auction list includes coffees from Colombia, Costa Rica, Ethiopia, Honduras and Rwanda. Current green coffee donors include Balzac Brothers, Coffee Shrub, Crop to Cup Coffee Importers, Dean’s Beans Organic Coffee, Genuine Origin, La Minita Coffee, InterAmerican Coffee, San Cristobal Coffee Importers, Sucafina, Sustainable Harvest and Walker Coffee Trading. “For 30 years, the coffee industry has helped Grounds for Health provide access to life-saving care to coffee-growing communities,” Grounds for Health Auction Manager Justin Mool said in an auction announcement. “Our auction is one of the ways we keep that connection going, giving roasters and retailers the chance to buy exceptional coffee and equipment while directly supporting women at origin.”... One of the best parts of being a small-batch roaster is changing the lineup constantly. We get to explore new origins, experiment with different flavor profiles, and share coffees we’re genuinely excited about. Our newest roast is coming soon, and it’s a reminder that we love what we do—roasting in small batches, staying curious, and keeping something new in the hopper. Because great coffee is meant to be discovered, not just repeated. What mountain should we name this one after??

As a coach, success isn’t measured by the trophies you win. It’s measured by the people you help become the best version of themselves... even if one day they go further than you ever did. Watching @angelopoulos_thanasis step onto the podium and earn 3rd place at the @worldcoffeechampionships World Coffee Roasting Championship was much more than a result. Over the last few years, we’ve been through moments that tested us. We changed direction, made difficult decisions, started over more than once, and kept moving forward. Not because we were chasing a trophy . But because we were chasing growth. Together, we achieved a highest result Greece has ever earned in this championship. A moment we’re incredibly proud of.. not only for ourselves, but for Greek coffee. What makes it even more meaningful is that all of this happened in less than a year since the creation of Offbreed Coffee Roasters @offbreed.coffee . It proves what a shared vision, trust, and teamwork can accomplish in such a short time. At the end of the day, success isn’t about what you take from people. It’s about what you leave behind. If, through your knowledge, your actions, or your example, you help even one person become better than yesterday, you’ve already achieved something far greater than any trophy .

Gracias, World of Coffee. Nos vemos en la próxima.
