InterConnect's 2nd Annual Gala is coming up in just 4 days!

This virtual community event will be an inspiring, high-impact hour as we reflect on the power of InterConnect and the transformative impact of our personal stories, look back on where we’ve been, and unveil where we are going next.

At the 2026 Virtual Gala, we will
-share InterConnect's updated mission statement and vision
-hear from a keynote speaker about the transformative power of storytelling
-provide an exclusive look at upcoming virtual programming
-preview the 2027 annual conference
-close out with an afterparty to wind down and celebrate a year of growth together!

Tickets for the Virtual Gala start at $15 with the opportunity to become an Event Sponsor by purchasing a ticket at one of our Sponsorship levels and helping InterConnect fund our ongoing community support programming and services.

This event is NOTAFLOF (No One Turned Away For Lack Of Funds). InterConnect members interested in low- or no-cost tickets should inquire at info@interconnect.support.

We are excited to share that our group for parents and families is returning! We will be holding a parent and family virtual support space on Thursday, August 13 at 7 pm ET. The group will be facilitated by our lovely board member and parent representative Akelah Reese! All parents and family members of intersex individuals are welcome to join.

InterConnect members, check your email for Zoom information to join the group. If you are not an InterConnect member and are interested in attending any of our virtual programming, fill out the form linked under "Join" in our bio.

Pride. Catharsis. Vulnerability. Care.
That's how one intersex person described being in real community.

"I received a very warm welcome as a first-time attendee of the conference. I haven't disclosed or discussed my intersex background much over the course of my life, so the conference was cathartic.

I felt safe to be vulnerable and express myself amongst the many caring people at the event.

Hearing the other attendees' stories and seeing intersex pride for the first time in my life took me out of my isolation; these were some of the realest people I've ever met. I'm glad I attended! 💛💜💛" - Blair

We were proud to fund multiple interACT youth advocates to attend the @interconnect_support conference this year.

Never underestimate the power of community! Intersex people can live empowered and joyous lives; they just need to see others like them doing the same.

Summer Conference is returning to the East Coast and we are excited to bring you a robust weekend of community, kindness, and connection in the “All Heart” City.

In Memory of Nicky Phillips

Dear InterConnect Community,

It is with great sadness, and great love, that we share news of the recent passing of our dear community member and friend, Nicky Phillips, from Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Nicky had a way of making each and every InterConnect member she met feel welcome, affirmed, and seen. She embodied the community, love, and spirit that our organization is all about. Nicky was a caring, generous, and foundational support to the local intersex community in British Columbia and to our InterConnect community throughout North America.

InterConnect is not the same without Nicky’s bright smile, unforgettable sense of humor, and warm spirit. We miss Nicky immensely.

We invite all members to join us on Zoom for a brief memorial ceremony and community support space, Tuesday February 24, 2026 at 7PM CST/8PM EST. Please see your emails or send us a message for the Zoom link.

We also invite you to continue sharing messages and memories of Nicky on our Facebook Groups.

To make a donation in Nicky’s memory, please visit our main fundraising page and mark your donation “in honor/memory of.”

We extend our deepest condolences to Nicky’s sister, Diane, and to Nicky’s loved ones. We are so grateful to have known Nicky’s friendship, heart, and soul. Our community is a little less bright without Nicky’s light. With each connection that makes up our community, we will honor her legacy.

DoubleGood sent us a sweet surprise this morning - our sale has been extended for two bonus days!

Y’all helped us surpass our first three fundraising goals and we are on track to hit out ultimate goal of $1000 in sales, or $500 raised for InterConnect’s 2026 Kids & Family Programming. Those who attended the Annual Meeting got a sneak peek at our anticipated offerings and we can’t wait to share more details with everyone soon.
