Pride. Catharsis. Vulnerability. Care.
That's how one intersex person described being in real community.

"I received a very warm welcome as a first-time attendee of the conference. I haven't disclosed or discussed my intersex background much over the course of my life, so the conference was cathartic.

I felt safe to be vulnerable and express myself amongst the many caring people at the event.

Hearing the other attendees' stories and seeing intersex pride for the first time in my life took me out of my isolation; these were some of the realest people I've ever met. I'm glad I attended! 💛💜💛" - Blair

We were proud to fund multiple interACT youth advocates to attend the @interconnect_support conference this year.

Never underestimate the power of community! Intersex people can live empowered and joyous lives; they just need to see others like them doing the same.

Which character’s energy are you vibing with today? ⤵️

I made this piece as a celebration of the beautiful, diverse, and limitless ways our community exists outside of binary constraints. We’re a force too powerful and too authentic to be confined by outdated ideas! ✨

Also y’all should go check out and support the page @toocutetobebinary to benefit @interconnect_support !💜

Today is Intersex Awareness Day — October 26.
A day to honor intersex people, amplify our stories, and demand the respect, visibility, and care every body deserves.

Intersex people are born with natural variations in sex traits — chromosomes, hormones, or anatomy — that don’t fit typical definitions of “female” or “male.” These variations are part of human diversity, not something to “fix.”

At interSupports, we believe visibility is our strength. Together, we’re building a world where intersex individuals are seen, affirmed, and supported — in medicine, in law, in family, and in life.

💛 Learn.
💜 Listen.
💗 Stand with intersex voices.
💙 Advocate for informed, compassionate care.

✨ Because awareness isn’t just one day — it’s the foundation for change.

#IntersexAwarenessDay #IntersexVisibility #interSupports #IntersexRights #IntersexPride #HumanVariation #InclusionMatters #VisibilityIsOurStrength #IntersexVoices #IntersexEducation Person at golden-hour looking forward with calm strength; soft sky in intersex colors.
