🎶 A confident performance begins long before your choir steps onto the stage.

Bengt Ollén (Sweden), jury member at the World Choir Games 2026 in Helsingborg, shares three practical priorities for conductors:

💜 Rehearse each work meticulously
💜 Insist on precise intonation
💜 Perform from memory whenever possible

Each rehearsal gives your choir time to deepen its understanding of the music, listen more closely, and build confidence together. Those carefully prepared details become part of what you share with the audience. ✨

As you look toward the World Choir Games 2027 in Linz, let this advice inspire your preparation, one phrase, one rehearsal, and one shared achievement at a time.

💬 Conductors, what rehearsal tip would you add? Share it in the comments!

You know that feeling when a choir sings and the whole room seems to hold its breath?

That’s the “magic moment” Bernard Krüger (South Africa) looks for when evaluating a choir.

The jury member from the World Choir Games 2026 in Helsingborg highlights intonation, sound, and interpretation, alongside the energy that connects singers, conductor, audience, and jury. 💜

Think of a performance you still remember. Chances are, you can recall how it made you feel. That shared experience is something your choir can bring to the stage, too.

🎶 Next stop: Linz 2027. Bring your preparation, your passion, and the music that means something to you. Your next unforgettable moment could be waiting there.

Share this with someone who has experienced that magic beside you. ✨
