Because getting to not meet the babies in mamas tummy’s, wasn’t enough. I wanted to meet the babies afterwards too. I know outdoor newborn sessions aren’t always possible and in-home sessions aren’t always easy on the new parents. So I created my little home-studio, minimal and simple to capture that newborn bliss.

A sweet and powerful maternity session in my home studio with these two.

I grew up documenting weddings with my dad so I’ve always been a sucker for a good love story. I just love being around two people who are really, truly in love and getting to document a little piece of that.

These two were just that and more. So much love between them and now they get to add a whole new little person to it.. Baby Ren turns one- Mom and dad wanted to keep his birthday set-up lively and playful with his stuffies and toys and we also incorporated a bit of a Hawaiian theme because that’s where his mom and dad got married… I’m a suckers for all the cute personal details!!

Such a beautiful human with her little cubs. 🤎

May passed in the blink of an eye, and somehow I never shared any of my Mama Mini sessions. I almost skipped posting them altogether since Mother’s Day weekend is long behind us, but then I realized… it’s okay to break the rules.

Maybe these photos weren’t shared in May, but they were far too sweet to stay tucked away on my hard drive. So here’s one of the many beautiful mamas I had the honor of capturing 💛 Studio motherhood session, studio family session, SoCal family photographer, oc family photographer, SoCal maternity photographer, Mother’s Day, Los Angeles family photographer, whimsy motherhood, chino hills family photographer, in the bliss photography by @inthebliss.studio
