If you’ve been around since the early days of 2011, Wow, thank you! Those were the days when I was just playing around with my camera, not really knowing where this would all lead.

If you’re new here, hi! I’m Stacey, the face behind In the Bliss Photography. I’ve been obsessed with taking photos since I got my very first camera at 7 years old, and somehow turned that lifelong hobby into the little dream business I get to run today. Seriously, how lucky is that?!

I get this question so often, I figured I’d share how I got into photography. I’m not kidding when I say ALL MY LIFE, because my dad started off as a wedding videographer the year I was born. Shortly after he also got into photography. He loved what he did and he loved teaching me everything he knew. I always looked forward to going to work with him when I was a kid.

I really did inherit his love for photography and forever grateful to him for that 🤍 by @inthebliss

I just really love anything that makes me feel something. Photography, music, good writing, art, nature, all of it. I love when something hits your brain in just the right way and makes you stop for a second. Honestly, that’s all I really ask for in this life, that I never lose my ability to appreciate any of it.
