Flashing back to week one of drum recording over the holidays for our upcoming EP 🤘❤️ we hope you all are staying safe and enjoying your start to 2025!

After years of playing a TD17 it was so nice to experience the freedom of such a personalized acoustic kit that the rest of the band have put so much effort into creating. We can’t wait to share more updates with you all throughout the year!

The tone is in the shit (watch till end…)

Last show of the tour and the best night of my life ❤️❤️❤️
- Incredible VIP session where I got to speak with all 4 of the members ✅
- A beautiful acoustic set featuring versions of We Will Not Disband, Napalm and Gutter Moon October Session ✅
- One of 3 shows all tour where they played Inmazes, my favorite song of all time (sobbing the entire time) ✅
- Played my second favorite song of theirs (Applause of a Distant Crowd) ✅
- @anders.friden made the long journey out to perform Cannibal with the guys ✅
- An amazing performance as a whole ✅
Thank you VOLA ❤️ by @inthedream_11

I’ve seen this done with so many bands and I thought it fit @volaband as well. At first Inmazes was their one song that I just couldn’t figure out, and after a year it’s now my favorite song of all time. VOLA simply are the best in the scene right now 🤘🔥

This is a mixed-medium piece I finished recently that was birthed entirely through the journey of listening to @volaband , particularly the song Ruby Pool. I wanted it to depict how the process of making something truly unique and powerful nowadays takes the courage of wanting to stand out from the masses while you catalyze and create something and slowly but surely pull it above the surface of a more commercial society. In many ways I was thinking of the VOLA themselves having to go through this process, but I also sort of see myself as the multicolored figure, feeling complete freedom in myself when I listen to the band. I wanted the figure to look somewhat associated to the wrapping around the moon, as if his willingness to expand is forcing the moon to slowly unveil before the real treasure and beauty is lifted through. The middle section separating the depths of the ocean and the night sky is supposed to play tribute to a “Ruby Pool” while also symbolizing our modern, red carpet society. I think I listened to Ruby Pool about 500 times while making this 😅 VOLA will always be my favorite band and I want to thank them for providing endless inspiration for me ❤️ they truly are one of a kind…
