After years of heartbreak, being failed by people he trusted, and multiple trips back to the shelter, Holden is finally getting the chance he deserves!
Thanks to @barkvilledogrescue and everyone who donated, shared, and supported him, Holden has officially started his Board & Train journey! 🥹
This is a HUGE step toward building his confidence, giving him the structure he needs, and preparing him for a successful forever home.

Holden has been failed too many times. 💔 Now, we have the chance to make sure this chapter is different.
After entering the shelter system in 2023, landing on an urgent list, surviving a rescue situation that ended in felony animal cruelty charges, returning to the shelter, being adopted, and then being returned again a year later… Holden is finally safe with @barkvilledogrescue 🩵
But getting him safe is only the beginning.
🐾 Barkville is raising funds to send Holden to Board & Train so he can get the structure, training, and support he needs to have the BEST possible chance at a successful forever home.

🎉ADOPTED!!🎉

✨Terry’s story is one of resilience and hope.

He was found abandoned at 4 mos, & then spent his puppyhood in the shelter, waiting for someone to choose him.

Days turned into weeks, weeks into months. Before he knew it, he was nearly 1 and still without a family.

He needed help, so I brought him home to foster. Every day I’m amazed how quickly he’s learned how to be a great dog.

He’s house + crate-trained and knows 6+ commands ✔️, incl “place.” He enjoys playing with other dogs, hiking, fetch, sunbathing, and water!

Terry’s a good dog whose waited too long for a forever home. Please share to help him find his happy ending ❤︎

ADOPTED!! 🌸 Terry = pure joy on four legs!

1 yo, 60lbs of fun puppy energy, and always ready for adventure- jogs, hikes, fetch 🎾… then straight to cuddling. 🐶 Dog-friendly, loves people, potty + crate trained, + super smart.

He knows his commands, a great car rider, easy for grooming, and comes with training support to keep him thriving.

Terry’s been a blast to have around 🐾 Always happy and grateful to be included. He’s ridiculously cute, full of personality, and always making me laugh. He’s ready to steal your heart and move right in ♥️ DM me to meet Terry!
