Out now! 📖✨ Today we shared a series of resources by instrans___ following trans[*]glocal, the hybrid performative gathering held at Battersea Arts Centre in October 2024.

@intrans___ (Intersectional Network for Transglocal Solidarity) was initiated in 2023 by Raju Rage, Nad MA, and Kaur Chimuk as a mutual effort to explore their shared inquiries into the future of non-hierarchical, cooperative transmedia exchange.

🤲In this pamphlet, you can delve into some of the collaborative ongoing resources Raju, Nad, and Kaur have developed as a way to share their work, thinking, and tools. Check out videos, texts and their Transglocal Glossaries 👀

📝 Heba Hayek was commissioned to write in response to the gathering resulting in the text: ‘How Many Times Must the Phoenix Burn? entries from the rupture’.

Alto a la guerra contra el EZLN

Pueblos, comunidades y personas que vamos contra el sistema de muerte que todo lo destruye a su paso, con amenazas y muertes se llenan sus bocas y manos; hemos aprendido otras formas, diversas formas de resistir con cuido y sembrando como podemos. La resistencia se realiza de manera individual, al cuestionar el estado de las cosas, surge al tomar conciencia de las injusticias y nuestro papel en perpetuarlas y cómo a través de nuestras acciones podemos cambiar. La resistencia es al mismo tiempo algo colectivo, ya que requiere organizarse y al mismo tiempo aportar soluciones a problemas y situaciones locales, pero que están ligadas a las desigualdades y estrategias de la hidra capitalista.
Nosotrxs varixs nos hemos puesto de acuerdo para hacer el trabajo de lo que antiguamente se les conocía como tlacuiloques, en náhuatl “quienes escriben pintando”, mostrando mediante los murales lo que nos atraviesa y en solidaridad con quienes reciben acoso, violencia, despojo y muerte, a nosotrxs también nos pasa, empatizamos.
Este es un primer muro, una primera chance para plasmar con pinceles, animo y coraje nuestra voz, Alto a la guerra contra las comunidades, al EZLN y a toda disidencia. Solidaridad con la lucha de pueblos enteros, apoyo mutuo y cuidado colectivo.

Muchas gracias a doña Fili que nos prestó su barda, a la familia por recibirnos y acuerparnos. Gracias a Gato,Cuauh,Yoru,Raju,Muchacho,Diana,Mar,Miztlizin y Nad. Y a quienes no estuvieron pero apoyan, seguimos buscando muros que plasmar.

Reseña del evento Feria de fanzines trans “aluZine”
El pasado 9 de nov. estuvimos en la Feria de Fanzines que tuvo lugar en Casa Tomada
@casatomada, librería y espacio que albergo a mas de 20 proyectos de personas trans y
disidentes de género. En la feria se dieron talleres de dibujo por @_____jovana, juego con
@roxanacahuita, charla sobre imagenes visuales con @scarly.saet y el proyecto de Archivo
Transmasculino MX @archivotransmascmx, presentación de fanzine por @issacrsoriano y
proyectos editoriales autogestivos como Destello <3 Lab @la.minimprenta y @floresrosx
desde y para personas trans/disidentes de genero. Intrans___ estuvo presente y en diálogo
con proyectos y asistentes, atesoramos mucho estos espacios donde podemos tejer y
compartir con lxs otrxs. Muchas gracias a @floresrosx por la invitación, gestión y
acompañamiento y a @casatomada por el espacio y atención. Por más ferias aluZine!!

on November 9. We were at the Fanzines Fair that took place in Casa Tomada-casatomada, bookstore and space that hosted more than 20 projects of trans people and gender dissidents. At the fair were given drawing workshops by - jovana, games with
-roxanacahuita, talk about visual imagines with -scarly.saet and the project of archive
transmasculino MX -archivotransmascmx, presentation of fanzine by -issacrsoriano and
Self-managed editorial projects such as Flash <3 lab -la.minimprenta and -floresrosx
from and for trans/gender dissident people.

INTRANS was present and in
dialogue with projects and attendees, we treasure a lot these spaces where we can weave and
share with others. Thank you very much to -floresrosx for the invitation, management and
accompaniment and to -casatomada for the space and attention. More fairs aluZine!! by @intrans___

About last nite....our first intrans gathering in London UK for Performing Borders at Battersea Arts Centre sharing our approaches via our pamphlet and map, trans media exchange, our transglocal glossary via live stream blogging and harvesting, creating solidarities across timespace to México and India.

Thank you to everyone who attended and participated, we are grateful for your presence and contributions. We were touched that so much of what we are doing resonated beyond these walls and borders and that we could connect in community.

Deep solidarity with those protesting at the UFFC march yesterday. We are with you even if not in person and in solidarity against racialised and gendered state violence against us. This is exactly what our network is about.

Pls stay in touch so we can grow and support each other.

We will be sharing our resources online soon, inc the interactive glossary blog, digital pamphlet and audio visual collages for those who missed out on the day.

Working with @performingborders was such a pleasure and a relief, they understood, supported and did their utmost to make this happen for us. Thanks to the awesome tech team at Battersea Arts Centre, the BSL signers and Heba Hayek for being there to respond.

Perspective: We are currently organising our resources in a cross-mapping mode, aiming to introduce an intersectional approach that uses our personal dialects as resources for collective mutualism. While collaborating with Performing Borders, we recognised the potential of existing within three distinct timelines (Mexico-India-UK). This cross-time not only helps us re-examine the politics of meaning-making but also shows how space and time act as key catalysts that shape a binary’s uniqueness.
