🥰 Reflecting and deeply grateful for a complete break and the best weekend in Maine. In a time of building and growth and focusing on work, taking a complete 4 day break last weekend in fun and silliness reminds me that there is no replacement for love, connection, deep conversations, coffee and laughter. ♥️

This weekend I encourage you to be REALLY present with your loved ones. Sit with the people who love you and show up for them and tell them how you feel about them. Everything you do is to bring you back to connection.

Every year on my birthday, before I blow out my candles, I ask everyone around me make a wish with me.
It’s my favorite part of the ritual because for one breath, one moment, everyone I love, family of birth and family of choice, is being asked: what do you desire? What are you hoping for? Who do you choose to BE?
We are all gifts.
Today and everyday, I am surrounded by the people, near and far, who make up my life, I am blessed to spend this moment recognizing your light as well as my own.
This year my birthday is on the Summer Solstice and Father’s Day. The longest day of the year. 🌞 A day for honoring fathers, for honoring the sun, and somewhere in the middle of all that, me too. 🥳🎉 Fun fact, I was born on a Father’s Day.

“It is easier for a father to have children than for children to have a real father.” Pope John XXIII

So, happy Father’s Day to all the great people who choose to show up and choose to be the best they can be for their kids. And to all those who’ve lost their dads; Dads who’ve lost their kids; people yearning to have kids; kids yearning for a healthy Dad… I see you.

I am so grateful for all the messages of LOVE. You have left me overflowing with gratitude. Together we are a tapestry of LOVE, creation, transformation, and connection. Thank you for all that you are.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the Moms, Dads who are Moms, Grandparents, Aunts, foster Moms… Blessings to all the Moms who are nurturing us from the other side. Love and support to you future Moms. All of you who hold space to nurture. All of you who care. Without you and your LOVE, we are nothing. I’m grateful for you, the true unsung heroes.

This day can be hard for many.
To those Mothers who have lost a child.
To the Children who have lost their Mothers.
To those who are Mothers to their mothers.
To anyone who has a difficult family situation.

Your mind, your emotions, and your physical body are all part of one connected, beautiful system. When you shift your perspective or clear an emotional block, your entire being feels that relief. It is a soulful dance of returning to your center.

As empaths, our nature is to be generous. We give our time, our energy, and our hearts because that is simply who we are. However, there is a very fine line between being a supportive light and becoming completely depleted.

Today, the day and the night stand in perfect balance. Light and dark, equal in partnership. A reminder that balance is possible, even when the world feels tilted.

“Life is a balance between holding on and letting go.” - Rumi

This Equinox invites us to do some emotional spring cleaning. What are you still holding onto that no longer serves you? Old resentments? Wounds? Expectations? Fear? Stories about who you’re supposed to be or who you “should” be?

What are you prepared to clear away?

Being open and receptive doesn’t have to mean absorbing everything around you. It can mean staying present, aware, without getting distracted by the noise. Choose to be discerning of what’s yours to carry and what isn’t.

Ask yourself:

∙ What am I proud of?
∙ What am I ready to let go of?
∙ Where am I out of balance?

The equinox reminds us that balance isn’t about staying still. We are reminded of the constant dance between holding on and letting go. The seasons of life, honoring the wisdom of the elder and the wonder of the child. Between light and dark. Between doing and being.

Spring is here! The light is returning. And YOU get to choose what you carry forward.
