This was a remastering of an earlier painting I made in 2023 named Circles. This time, I wanted to bring in color and some meaningful materials to aid in the cathartic release. It felt amazing going back to that dark place and coming out grateful for all the growth since.

💫✨ In my teaching era ✨💫

Grateful for the opportunity to hold sacred space for healing with 8 incredible humans this week in beautiful Colorado. Honored to share the gifts, wisdom, and lineage carried by my teachers.

Deep gratitude to @msevapayne and @lorrymariegreen for the chance to co-create, learn, and serve alongside you both. Eva and Lorry your leadership continues to shape my path in ways I can’t even fully name.

Nov is booked. We still have a few 1 or 2 person retreat dates before the year’s end at Invocation Retreats in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Grateful for how much has changed in just one year when I first found myself dropping off my own art at a gallery for the first time. Not long before that, I was terrified to share my work with anyone. My art had been weaponized against me my whole life that I feared my very own creations. I’d been so silenced that I was terrified of my own voice. Of my own visibility. So much of what I created during COVID stayed hidden away in shoeboxes. Tiny canvases that I painted voraciously through an existential road trip across the country. That roadtrip and an incredible trust in the universe and intuition miraculously, indescribably and undeniably led me here.

happy 5 yr anniversary Albuquerque.

I would trade you for nothing.

I’ve never felt home that right here.

I’m grateful for everyone I’ve met along this journey, for my crew, for the welcoming art community I’ve found here, and for the support that’s held me as I continue to die and be reborn, cycle after cycle, closer to my truest self.

It means so much to be invited back for such a meaningful show one year later at Old Walls Gallery and on the same night, to have my newest paintings opening in such a vibrant community space at Groove Art Space. 🌏✌️ by @invocationhealingarts

Memorial Day Weekend 2006. I just found it and it’s been 20 years since that day. I was just 16 writing about an experience at a drug dealers house.

I started drinking and smoking 🌱when I was 15.
I’ve blacked out more than 100 times in my life before getting sober.

I’m grateful to be sober now but I also have so much compassion and gratitude for myself during this dark time. Gratitude for these tools that kept me alive. Numb enough to keep going; until I could eventually heal and escape the darkness. taken in Visalia, California by @invocationhealingarts

As an artist and survivor, I’ve spent over a decade in my own healing work preparing to eventually hold space for others.

For years, I’ve poured myself into building Invocation Retreats — combining my love of visual storytelling, art making, nervous system healing, community care, and transformational work into something deeply life changing.

This August I’m offering two once in a lifetime retreats and wanted to share this in my online community. If you can’t make it, I do have 4 open spots for private coaching to support somatic healing and creative expression as healthcare.

✨ Neurosparkly & Highly Sensitive Women Retreat

For the women who grew up feeling “too much.”
Too sensitive. Too emotional. Too intense. Too different.

So many neurodivergent and highly sensitive women learn to mask themselves just to survive — at school, at home, in relationships, at work.

The vibes here are about laughter, friendship, somatic healing, creativity, guided journey work, being witnessed without needing to explain yourself, and reclaiming the parts of yourself you were once taught to hide.

One of the most meaningful parts: together we’ll create a beginner-friendly public mural celebrating neurodivergence, sensitivity, creativity, and the beautiful ways our brains experience the world differently. 🎨

✨ Untamed Women Retreat

Inspired by Untamed — a book that helped catalyze my own journey of leaving behind everything familiar, traveling solo across the country, and ultimately building a new life in Albuquerque.

This retreat is for women ready to examine the ways they’ve been conditioned to stay small, self-abandon, silence themselves, or live inside cages built by fear, shame, abuse, family systems, religion, or survival.

This work is about becoming freer.

Freer to speak honestly.
Freer to take up space.
Freer to build the life you actually want.

Both retreats are intentionally small and intimate because the quality of care matters deeply to me.

This reel shows the making of 3 paintings inspired by the Palisades fires — hours of creation condensed into 10 seconds 🔥

When I paint, I’m manifesting future viewers and holding a prayer for the highest good for all. I alchemize pain into release and aim to raise the vibration of the planet in my own small ways.
